Dubai Specialised Medical Center and Research Labs was first set up in 1991 by Haj Saeed A. Lootah, along with Professor Ahmed Al-Qadhi, the President of the medical Islamic Center for Education in Florida.

The center is used to help patients who come from low income families, as it is a charitable center that is financially supported by Haj Saeed Lootah. The center is used to treat patients with cancer, allergies, obesity, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes and many more conditions. Patients visit the center from many different countries and the center also provides courses for many medical students.
