Annette Benigni – our SDR Team Leader at Doctify Germany – loves spending her free time outdoors. It’s not surprising that she’s one of the top contributors to our Race around the World.
What motivates you to keep going with the Race around the World challenge?
I have always been an outdoor person who enjoys sports. I love the fresh air and seeing different environments, which I can easily explore while walking or jogging.
Ever since we decided to add a new member to our family, our lovely dog Harvey, I have been walking more often. With charity events like Race around the World, every mile count. I am proud to contribute by adding my steps in, even if it’s just from walking with my dog.
How do you fit this into your daily routine?
On the days that I work from home, I go for a long walk after 5.30 pm. I’m also walking our dog in between, so that’s always more steps and miles! When the weekend comes and I have more time, I enjoy planning longer journeys and exploring new places.
Has there been anything that you have found challenging?
I feel the most challenged when the weather is not great. When it’s cold and rainy, I really have to push myself to go for a walk. But I know that I’m always feeling energised and healthy after working out, so that keeps me going.
