Doctify launches a Video Consultation platform

In response to the Coronavirus crisis, Doctify has worked tirelessly to launch a reliable and secure Video Consultation solution to help our doctors and other healthcare professionals, to conduct remote consultations with their patients. We provide this tool to all our specialists for free.

In the current climate, we want to ensure that our consultants and clinics can continue to care for patients in a safe, professional way. Patients may struggle to attend appointments in person – but they still have questions and needs.

Now more than ever it is vital to be agile and offer patients an alternative. This will allow our doctors to continue to give any of their patients the advice, reassurance, and care they need.

How does the Video Consultation Tool work?

We provide the tool for free as part of your subscription. It’s super easy to use for both patients and doctors, and is also safe and GDPR compliant. This tool will be able to be used by any of your patients. Additionally, as a clinician or practice manager, you have a login to your own dashboard and can schedule a meeting within 30 seconds.

To keep patients secure, the tool will not save the video consultation. The tool is GDPR compliant and encrypted.

Patients can be less trusting of free mass-market tools that can be accessed or shared in error, such as Skype or FaceTime. Our solution provides patients with the peace of mind of a bespoke healthcare-focused solution. Also, some software needs the patient to create an account or might not allow you to schedule appointments in the future.
