Dr Lo Guidice returned to Italy in 2000 and worked as a consultant cardiologist at Cefalu's San Raffaele-Giglio Hospital and Trieste's University Hospital, where he was in charge of the cardiovascular department's Pulmonary Hypertension Service. He has extensive experience in the management of acute and chronic ischaemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies, advanced heart failure, and complex arrhythmias. Dr Lo Giudice strongly believes in patient-centered care.

Doctor Lo Giudice visited me and performed also an ECG and Eco. He answered every questions (I am an anxious person) and clarified each of my doubts. I will meet him again if needed for me and my family and I will attend any follow ups that will be required. Many thanks to him and his staff for taking care of me. Regards

He put me at ease, answered my questions, explained a bit about my condition and what sort of tests would be needed. Also the timescale which was important for me as I was on a long waiting list.

I first met Dr Lo Giudice with my mother who has a number of complex cardiac health issues. Dr Lo Giudice is very thorough, professional, knowledgeable and compassionate so I did not hesitate organising appointments for both me and my husband when we needed a cardiologist, again we both received outstanding care.

Excellent bedside manners. The visit was appropriately long enough to explain what I was feeling in my heart, and why I was so worried. We run through some recent experiences I had, and then reading my ECG he could confirm and explain in a simple way what was going on and the next steps. He made me feel understood and looked after.

I am always a bit worried about medical appointments but Dr Lo Giudice was capable of made me feel more relaxed and to listen carefully to my synthoms and story, providing at the same time competent information. Happy to have find a doctor with humanity and empathy.
