My journey with Venetia spans over 8 years, and I have nothing but good words for how she conducted herself both professionally and on the human level throughout this time. I came to her with a sense of general uneasiness in life that started to become debilitating, and thanks to her effort and dedication I have now developed the tools to understand myself and how I operate in the world to a previously inconceivable degree. She is an exceptional listener and can handle anything you throw at her, as well as being a master at picking up little threads and patterns entangled in the unconscious mind that would have taken decades to even notice, let alone act upon. I could write a long essay on all the benefits and life lessons I enjoyed throughout my experience with her but I will keep this brief to not get people to suspect I was paid to write a review! I will end with this - if you are looking for a loving, dedicated, and extremely professional psychologist to tackle life's struggles, I would highly recommend you give Venetia a try.

Venetia seems to be a great clinician with the empathy so vital to ensuring clients feel heard. She provided helpful insights into what may assist a traumatised partner and gave a helpful referral in this respect. I would highly recommend her.

Venetia helped me a lot with certain issues that I had/have. She helped me to understand them and helped me address me. She is very kind and willing to listen and understand. She never told me what to do but tried to help me the rationale/motives of my behaviour. I felt that I could trust her and that she really cared and was trying to help me. She never passed judgment.

Venetia has been helping me for over a year and a half, through both a physically and emotionally difficult time. I honestly don't know how I would have got through this period without her wise words and comforting nature. I opened up to Venetia in such an honest way, and we dealt with issues that were hidden, very deep within, which Venetia understood were holding me back in life. Throughout our time together, Venetia was extremely patient with me, and I never felt judged by her. Her compassion towards me really helped me to learn to have compassion towards myself, which will live with me always, and is truly one of the greatest gifts I could ever ask for. Venetia remained extremely professional throughout our sessions, but still showed me the same kind of warmth that a very caring friend would show. Although I now feel ready to continue the work Venetia has taught me alone, I will truly miss seeing Venetia's caring face on a weekly basis and our time together. I wish her all the best for the future, and I will forever be grateful to her. I could not recommend her highly enough.

Before I started therapy with Dr. Leonidaki , I had a gambling problem for more than 8 years. It included casinos, bookmakers, online: any gambling channel i can access to. First I had an induction session and I had two options: one concentrating around why I became an addict, second was CBT therapy to action on the gambling itself. I decided with CBT. It is not a method that goes into deep analysis of childhood, traumas etc but gives methods to combat gambling addiction, i.e what to do when one has cravings, how to reward yourself for not gambling, how to enjoy the abstinence of gambling. At the end of the therapy, I was able to move out of the vicious cycle that gambling creates: chasing loses and chasing wins. I am no longer gambling, even though it sometimes crosses my mind i can stop my inclinations. Life got better!

My sessions with Dr Venetia Leonidaki were thought provoking and helped me to understand the myself and my mind in an extremely relaxed yet professional manner. As someone who finds it difficult to be open about my thoughts and feelings, coupled with the basic unknown of what to expect from therapy, every session was always comfortable and more importantly, beneficial to me. I have waited a year to provide this feedback as I wanted to take the time to see how the outcome of the sessions would impact me and my life post completion of my therapy. I came to the sessions with depression and not feeling like I was being my true self. One year on, I am happy within myself, have a far deeper understanding of my thoughts and emotions and am a better person for it.

Venetia has been a great therapist and helped me understand the root cause of the problem by bringing a new perspective and clarity. the best thing about her is that she acknowledged everything I said and did connect things that I said in my earlier sessions to the latest ones which helped me get out of the zone where I could not think clearly.

She saved my life. I reached out to Dr Leonidaki initially for CBT out of desperation, back then I didn't believe any psychotherapy would work on me. Throughout our interactions, I feel she cares about me and I feel very safe around her. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She taught me various methods to cope with bad events or thoughts. She always dive deep with me to find the root cause of my bad feelings and thoughts. She has her own unique way of delivering messages to me that would show me a perspective I could have never thought of myself. Before I met Dr Leonidaki I was always depressed and worried (to the point that I couldn't fall sleep for an entire year). Today I work a stressful job yet I am confident and calm. My fear, worries and avoidance were all in the past, thanks to Dr Leonidaki.

I have reached to Dr Venetia Leonidaki during a difficult time but with her support, and I have managed to get in a better place. She is very professional, calm and has great listening skills which have helped me get in touch with my own needs and take control of my own feelings and desires. I would highly recommend her services.

Dr Leonidaki provided coherent and practical therapy. We began therapy by creating goals together that were measurable and achievable. Furthermore she signposted each strategy we used helping me to understand what was happening, how it was relevant to me, and how to practice it. Overall she made a very alien process comfortable and accessible.

I have worked with Dr Venetia Leonidaki in the same NHS service (Complex Depression, Anxiety & Trauma) & we managed patients together. Dr Leonidaki is a very passionate psychologist & she is extremely diligent. She is very skilled in using a wide range of psychological techniques & therapies. In my opinion one of the most important things about Dr Leonidaki work is that she empowers her patients & forms a strong therapeutic relationship with them which allows them to achieve all their goals. I highly recommend Dr Leonidaki to anyone who is looking for a professional, highly skilled & trustworthy psychologist.
