Mr Kyriakides has performed more than 5,000 vein procedures, including Endo Venous Laser Ablation (EVLA), which is proven to be the most successful minimally invasive laser treatment for varicose vein removal. He has also pioneered the use of EVLA as a treatment for veins on the hands and is one of the few surgeons in Europe trained in this novel technique. Mr Kyriakides also specialises in varicose vein procedures of the scrotum and of the vulva and vagina to treat pelvic congestion.
Mr Kyriakides gained his medical qualification in the UK, before going on to undertake postgraduate training in both the UK and USA. He belongs to The Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, The European Society for Vascular Surgery, and The Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.

Qualifications
Mr Kyriakides trained at Manchester Medical School from where he qualified in 1991. He received his post-graduate training at Manchester, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School and St Mary's Hospital London. Mr Kyriakides is a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Since 2004 he has been running a very busy private clinical practice dealing both with domestic and international patients whilist still maintaining an active NHS profile.
