I feel more realistic information for this procedure needs to be given. I was told it was an 8-week recovery, however 15 weeks would be more realistic. More information regarding mobility, normality of site swelling etc needs to be addressed.

At my initial consultation, Dr Alttahir described options available to me for my condition. When I returned for a follow-up and prepared to proceed, the doctor has decided that his original advice would not be suitable because “most patients just live with the condition” in spite of my descriptions of my poor quality of life as a result of my condition.
