Dr Symonds provided true patient and family centred care from my first meeting with him in breast screen to provide the pathology results of my ultrasound. His explanation of the invasive cancer was clear and definitely reassuring regarding the next steps. I felt that I was in the hands of a kind, empathetic and expert clinician. He provided all the information I required to make an informed decision and adequate time during consultations to ask questions. The day of the surgery I felt prepared and confident as a result of his discussions with me and all the information that had been provided. Dr Symonds is a talented and highly professional surgeon. My surgery results are excellent and so indeed has been my follow up appointments and his attention to detail.
