Sean Thunder specialises in supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, and addiction. Using a person-centred approach, Sean integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Choice Theory to create customised therapy plans for each client. With experience in workplace stress, Sean understands its impact on mental health and well-being.

Sean frequently works online and in person (D22 & D12) with clients facing Work-related Anxiety, Gambling Addiction, General Anxiety, Social Anxiety, and Panic Attacks. Transitioning from a background in industrial relations, Sean pursued studies in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy at NUI Maynooth, IICP Tallaght, and MTU. Accredited by IACP, he has been counselling and supporting clients for nearly a decade.

Knowledge of the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC), working time regulations, and employment contracts can provide clarity to clients experiencing work-related stress and anxiety, fostering a therapeutic relationship conducive to healing.

Sean also specialises in problem gambling and gambling addiction, addressing the growing epidemic across all age demographics in Ireland. Recognising the secretive nature of problem gambling, Sean provides professional support to individuals struggling with dependencies, as well as their partners, family, friends, or colleagues.
