A few weeks ago, I picked up a knee injury while running. It wasn’t anything major, but it was enough to keep me off my feet and worried about how long it would take to heal. I decided to give The Performance Lab a try after hearing good things. Matt was the therapist who looked after me. He asked lots of questions about what happened and how the injury felt, which made me feel listened to straight away. He checked my knee thoroughly and explained what was going on in a way that was easy to understand—no confusing medical jargon. I liked that Matt didn’t rush things; he took his time and made sure I was comfortable with every exercise he gave me. The facility is well equipped and clean, which made the rehab sessions a lot more pleasant. Matt also gave me a few tips for at-home care and made sure I knew what to do between visits. After a few sessions, my knee felt a lot better. I appreciated the personal attention and the way Matt kept track of my progress. I’d definitely recommend The Performance Lab Blackburn to anyone needing help with an injury or just wanting to get back into sport safely. Matt was a big help and the whole experience felt professional yet friendly.

I had major surgery and was in the hospital for almost a week. Within that time, I had the chance to get to know the people that took care of me. They held my hand when I cried, helped me take my first steps post op, joked with me and told me about their lives. Most of them were men and women from all over the world. It was so heartwarming to be in a place that clearly embraces and celebrates what each and every member of their team brings. I have never been to a hospital where I saw nurses and doctors genuinely happy. And because of that I was able to receive the most amazing care. Care that I hope every human being receives in their lifetime. Although it was one of the toughest weeks of my life physically, I will always be grateful to all of the HCA staff who made my experience so meaningful. Thank you so much!

The cleaner came to my room with a very dirty mop and after he left the room smelled of urine Probably he cleaner the urine in a previous room and smeared all over my room and bathroom. I ask the nurse if they could bring a bottle of water for my visitor and he told my visitor to go and get the water herself from the corridor.
