Dr. El Toukhy actually takes the time to listen, hear, and believe you. He wants to find a solution for your pain, and not just pass you off to someone else. When you live in chronic pain, finding a doctor like him is like finding a needle in a hay stack.

From start to finish, the advice, consultation and in the end surgical intervention from Dr Pawel has been world-class. Given the very invasive nature of the surgery undertaken, a 3 level ACDF, I'm stunned that despite having metalwork and screws inside my spine, since surgery I've not even needed a panadol in the 3 weeks since, and Dr Pawel has been at the end of the phone or whatsapp with any questions. What I liked most of all is that he used a holistic/team approach with my other specialists at other clinics/hospitals to ensure my other needs/complications are met. This is all too rare in Dubai where healthcare provision is often siloed. I couldn't be happier to recommend Dr Pawel.
