Due to a very busy schedule, I left it for years over Covid to understand what my problem may or may not be and I wish I had approached Doctor Kumar sooner. The action he recommended as well as conducted didn’t take as long as I thought it would and a huge worry has now been lifted, with Doctor Kumar offering options for me to consider in my own time. Very impressed.

My gallbladder was full of stones and needed to be removed to reduce risk of pancreatitis. AXA had referred me yet again to a consultant who was not a surgeon. I would have had to call AXA and have another appointment with a surgeon but Dr Vasilikostas fitted me in after his clinic finished and scheduled me for surgery within two weeks. He was kind, reassuring and professional.

Intrusive, bossy, short in his manner. Insisted on another in-person follow up. Felt entitled to criticize (my moderate) alcohol intake and put notes on this in my medical letter: I was there to check a hernia tear, not get a moralistic lecture. I urge Mr Wan to reconsider his position as a service provider and also work on his communication skills and bedside manner.
