He listened carefully — not just to the clinical facts, but to us as people — and set out a clear, structured plan at a time when everything felt overwhelming. His manner with both me and my partner was outstanding; thoughtful, compassionate, and quietly authoritative. My cancer was aggressive and required surgery to ensure a cure. Throughout the process, Professor Vasdev was completely transparent without ever being alarmist. He fought hard to preserve both my continence and sexual function, and went the extra mile during surgery to maintain the nerve structures wherever safely possible. That level of care and skill has made an enormous difference to my recovery and quality of life. What truly set him apart was the way he managed the entire journey end-to-end. He coordinated all referrals — oncology, fertility, and beyond — and delivered what can only be described as a fully managed service. He recognised that we were in shock and removed complexity at every step, allowing us to focus on getting through it. Without underplaying the seriousness of having cancer, the speed, efficiency, and excellence of my treatment — and the rapidity of my recovery — has made the whole experience feel almost like a non-event. I know how fortunate I am that this was caught early and handled so exceptionally well. We will always be deeply grateful to Professor Nikhil Vasdev. His skill, leadership, and humanity have had a profound impact on our lives, and we remain indebted to him.

I had an amazing experience with Mr Harley from start to finish. I had an initial video call consultation which was free of charge and helped answer a lot of my initial questions around the process and what to expect. Booking my consultation was incredibly quick and easy and Jennie was very helpful. In my consultation Mr Harley answered all my questions incredibly well and really took the time to explain the process and also help me choose the correct implants. He explained all the different options and really took care to understand what I was hoping to achieve with my surgery. Surgery day itself was also great, the team at McIndoe were all incredibly kind and helpful and the whole team involved in my surgery were incredibly professional and reassuring. I chose to stay overnight following my surgery and was blown away with the quality of care I was given at the McIndoe centre. The food was also great! I was given everything I needed to be discharged and the nurses assured me that I could call if I had any issues following my discharge. The result itself has been incredible and I couldn’t be happier with it, it’s achieved exactly what I was hoping for and even exceeded my expectations. My healing process was incredibly easy and I was back to feeling myself within a few days. I cannot recommend Mr Harley and the McIndoe centre enough. Throughout the process I was put at ease and treated with such care and professionalism, and the result is better than I could have hoped for.

Overall it went well. Manon has a very good communication, fast, clear and efficient. But when she was away, there were issues... These were the problems we've faced when she was away. On our first attempt, we got the results in 3 steps : - email with no attachment - then attachment without password - then we finally could see the result When you're awaiting the result badly, that really gets on your nerves! Then the biggest issue : on our second attempt, we didn't get an email telling us if we should start the triggering drug. We had to do researches ourselves, and gambling if we should to take it or not. We decided to take it, and we were right. To learn on the next day thatt Manon's substitute wrote the email, but did no send it; it was still draft. Great, almost a full cycle lost, with the expenses going with it!!! You definitely need more employees like Manon.

I had a great experience from start to finish, and built my running up to now where I’m running 4 days a week. Nick also built me a Running Strength Plan to (hopefully) keep me injury free for the rest of my marathon block. I’d highly recommend PhysioJack for all injuries, especially those aiming for high level sports activities!

The 2 and half hour waiting time for a 5-minute test was severely dissatisfying. The endoscope tube was much too thick, thicker than it is necessary perhaps. Nowadays the medical technology is much advanced and I truly believe a thinner tube can do the job sufficiently as well as improving patient comfort.
