⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Honestly blown away by this service I’m nearly 80 now, and I can’t even count how many doctor visits I’ve had in my life, but MyDoctor by Northern Health honestly left me a bit blown away. I wasn’t expecting much — you get used to being rushed through at my age — but I came off the call feeling like someone had finally taken the time to actually explain my own health to me. It felt different from the moment it started. No rushing, no talking over me, no making me feel like I was being dramatic. Just calm, proper care. I felt listened to in a way I haven’t in years. I actually felt like… well, like a person again, not someone they’re trying to hurry out the door. For the first time I understand what’s been setting things off, and what I need to do next time before it all gets too much. That alone is worth gold to me. I’ve been muddling along for years without this clarity. I’m honestly amazed. At my age you don’t expect to be surprised by much anymore, but this really did it. I’ll absolutely be using MyDoctor again — I wish I’d found it sooner.

Mr Arambage was kind, paitent and empathetic. It was a lovey surprise to speak to a Dr who had already gone through my history and could confidently refer to it, rather than double checking or asking for information already discussed, as this has been a rare experience for me. He was clearly knowledgeable on the subject and could refer to previous experience that was relevant to my scenario and used that to make appropriate recommendations. I liked that his knowledge of my history meant we could skip to important information and have more time to discuss this in detail rather than spend 15min going through my last 2 decades of investigation. Mostly I am relieved to hear a medical professional saying these symptoms are real, with a root cause that can be treated, I am not delusional and to have a clear plan of action moving forward. It is a great weight off my shoulders and I am incredibly grateful for that and for Kirana’s time and efforts.

The appointment itself was very positive. Dr. Robert Gordon was calm, validating, and genuinely listened. The room was quiet, warm, and set up like a cosy study, which made it feel safe rather than clinical. He explained the diagnostic impressions clearly at the end in a way that finally made sense, and it didn’t feel dismissive. I left feeling understood in a way I haven’t experienced with other services, although the level of positivity felt unexpected and left me a bit uncertain about how to interpret it. The only issue was the arrival process. My appointment was in the late evening, and reception was closed. It wasn’t clear where to check in, and I had no phone signal. I had to rely on Wi-Fi and the website photos to work out where to wait. Overall, despite the initial uncertainty about the building, the clinical experience was extremely positive. Everything went smoothly, and the assessment itself was very professional.

Dr Laura Ismail never ceases to amaze me with each of our consultations. She has been the first doctor to look at me holistically and take each point I tell her about into account. She goes above and beyond, and still looks truly stunning doing it! She has helped me through so many new diagnoses and investigations, always supporting me and checking in. She is never too busy for a phone call or email. Her team are just as kind, empathetic and lovely as she is. The whole team make you feel understood, you can 100% be confident in the care you receive. This is what a doctor who does patient centred care should look up to, she is truly an inspiration to me, I hope to live up to her standard when I qualify. Truly the best medical care I have ever received and continue to receive.

My teen daughter has been under the care of Dr Zakynthinaki for the last 3 months for autistic burnout alongside low mood and anxiety. Dr Zakynthinaki has been wonderful in so many ways - she's empathetic with my daughter and with me, she listens and she's been incredibly responsive to our questions. She explains things so well and in a lot of detail, which I really appreciate. It's so refreshing to come across a specialist who's willing to work with a patient so diligently and with so much care - who can offer not only the clinical experience, but is also very patient-focussed. I feel we are both seen and heard by her. If you are looking for support for your child / adolescent, particularly if they are neurodiverse, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Zakynthinaki!

Impossible to speak to anyone in Cambridge which was very frustrating. am used to being seen privately and this did not come up to the usual standard. Although the staff were very polite and friendly I felt that nobody was sure what to do and did not fill me with confidence. I have never gone privately and only seen the surgeon on the day of the operation with no follow up appointment with the actual surgeon. I was left with a cut on the skin to the left of my eye and an indentation across my eyebrow which I feel had probably been caused by the clamp used to keep my eyelid open. I was left feeling that for some reason the private sector in Cambridge was struggling. A great pity.

My husband had undergone a Pacemaker fitted on 14th August, 2025- this visit was a follow-up. Dr Khan explained clearly regarding the battery of the pacemaker and we agreed to confirm 12 monthly checks on the pacemaker at the Alexandra Hospital. In fact prior to this visit and prior to the procedure Dr Khan was very clear and fastidious regarding checks on Jack and the fact that his heart rate was dropping to 30 - to ensure safety during the procedure Dr Khan has gone above and beyond our expectations and made us feel confident and safe under his care

My experience with Dr Johnson was outstanding. She is a truly wonderful doctor — calm, compassionate, and exceptionally thorough. From the moment she walked into the room, I felt listened to, respected, and fully cared for. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel safe during a very worrying time. The staff at Candover were equally impressive. Every person I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Their teamwork and gentle approach made the whole experience so much easier for me.

Very good overall. Minor gripes only would be the limited parking, limited capacity in waiting areas and that some seating is too low to meet the needs of hip / knee patients . The roll out of the new call centre facility makes for a patchy experience at times and it’s concerning that online accounts fail to show all patient appointments - even with the consultants - which may lead to confusion and potential missed appointments. Work in progress and will surely iron out in time.

From start to finish it was a worthwhile experience, we were made to feel welcome and Jemma helped us to feel at ease by her warm gentle approach. Even though we were anxious about the assessment, we were able to trust that Jemma knew and understood how my daughter was suffering and her knowledge was evident by her questions and responses. My daughter broke down in tears at the end of the assessment because at last someone understood and validated her

My visit was disappointing but not due to Professor Douek but the fact that another department decided to over rule a decision made by the professor and cancelled an appointment previous to this one which means that I will need to take time out again to visit but also wasted an appointment time someone else could have had. Professor Douek was apologetic and sincere and did still complete an examination. Very professional.

The care I received at the Nuffield Hospital was excellent from start to finish. The nursing, theatre, and support staff were consistently professional, kind, and attentive, and made what could have been a daunting experience feel calm and well-managed. Everything was clearly explained, I felt well cared for throughout my stay, and the standard of care was outstanding. The hospital was excellent

I had to have 4 visits to get a crown fitted on a rear tooth. Hours after the first temporary crown was fitted it fell off. I attended the surgery the following day to have a second temporary crown fitted but was not informed that, as it was a different Dentist, this would incur a separate charge which is not good practice. This second temporary crown also fell off after a couple of days.
