Moorfields truly deserves its reputation as the best eye hospital in the world. Mr Pal is an exceptional surgeon,highly knowledgeable, calm, polite, and genuinely caring. I have been living with diabetic retinopathy for a long time, and the fear of losing my sight has been constant. Thanks to Mr Pal’s expertise and treatment, my vision is now stable, and I feel reassured that my eyesight is safe. I am also deeply grateful to the entire team who supported me throughout this journey. Mr Pal’s secretary was wonderful, and the lady I spoke to on the phone took the time to explain every step clearly and patiently. She followed up with a detailed yet easy-to-understand email outlining the treatment and costs, which made a very daunting situation much easier to manage. The nursing staff were equally outstanding—kind, attentive, and reassuring at every stage. While the treatment is expensive, it is absolutely worth it when it comes to preserving your eyesight. After living in fear for so long, this care has given me peace of mind and hope again. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Mr Pal. I discovered him purely by chance through an acquaintance, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Moorfields Eye Hospital and Mr Pal to anyone. I truly hope more people become aware of the outstanding work he does.

WOW amazing! I have worn glasses since I was 16 (53 years), initially to see the blackboard! Recently my eyesight deteriorated due to cataracts and I was referred to Visio. I was very nervous about having the operation but in retrospect should not have worried, it really was not stressful. I had Trifocal Lenses fitted by Ms Ranjit Sandhu and would describe the result as amazing and transformational. I was hoping for my eyesight to return to my pre cataract vision, it did far more than this as I now have excellent unaided vision for distance as well as for near. I now have better vision than I have ever had before, and don’t need glasses anymore! I was advised before the operation that a side effect may be an increase in Halo & Glare when driving at night, however, I have not experienced this and am very comfortable with my night driving vision. In summary my vision has been transformed thanks to Visio and I would highly recommend them.

Attended for a blood test. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with blood tests over the years. This is primarily because I have very small and narrow veins which disappear with the touch of a needle..☹️ I find the whole experience extremely painful and distressing … I explained all of this to Debbie, the wonderful and kind nurse who attended me. She was brilliant! Totally put me at ease and was incredibly supportive and gentle. I was definitely a challenge for her as my veins were completely uncooperative per usual. But she took her time and used the smallest needle possible to minimise any discomfort. She succeeded in the end and managed to get enough blood for a full blood count!! Miraculous! I am so very grateful to Debbie for turning a potentially very upsetting and negative experience into a positive outcome. She has helped me to regain a little more confidence in having my blood taken again. Thank you Debbie! 😊

Steve is excellent. Personable and very professional and clearly knows his stuff. He operated on our son following a shoulder dislocation playing rugby. Throughout the process, Steve was clear with the surgical options and very thorough in his explanations, particularly understanding with the emotions of a teenager and his desperation to be back on the pitch again. He has a friendly manner and was always quick to answer extra questions we had between consultations. He did an excellent surgical job on our son and we’d have no hesitation in recommending him. From start to finish Daye is intuitive and easy to use. I’ve done many online health tests prior to this but nothing compares to the level of service Daye provides. For clarity I did the full screen and purchased the 30 min nurse call. The sample is beyond easy to take and post. The results came back fast and were clear to understand, on top I was sent a beautiful kind email and was also offered a free call to over my HPV results. I didn’t use this but my 30 min call with the nurse was invaluable. I would have been happy to pay triple the price for the service I received. I will be 100% using Daye again and have already recommended to friends.

The staff at KIMS Hospital are truly amazing and incredibly friendly. Their professionalism and genuine compassion were unmatched by any experience I’ve had in NHS care. I felt supported, reassured, and well looked after from start to finish. Several people stood out during my stay: Amy in recovery, David, who prepared me for the epidural, Becky, my physio, and Mark, who handled my medication. My two nurses who cared for me around the clock were also outstanding — attentive, kind, and consistently reassuring. I honestly can’t fault any part of the care I received. Thank you to the entire team for making a daunting experience so much easier.

I had an online ADHD assessment with Bernhard Kelley-Patterson. Bernhard was very friendly and professional, I felt at ease throughout the appointment and would happily talk with him again. So far my experience with Skylight has been very positive, the wait times between communication emails are generally 3-5 days and it took approximately 8 weeks to get my first appointment after the registering my interest. Considering the NHS waiting list for an ADHD assessment is 4 years, I’d say that pretty damn good. I would highly recommend opting for Skylight through the ‘Right to Choose’ pathway via the NHS. Mr Macpherson was incredibly approachable and very helpful - my surgery was for a full hip replacement. He went over the options and the surgery was agreed. Mr Macpherson was particularly helpful when my surgery had to be postponed from the initial appointment date due to unfortunate and unconnected circumstances. My planned visit to consult Mustafa after the festive period suddenly crystallised, such that the consultation and treatment occurred all in one evening visit. Arrangements were made and on examining the analysis of the X-ray of my knee, it was clear that Durolane plus Depo-Medrone would be the best treatment, at least initially. Mustafa then carried out the injection and, with some advice on what might happen during the next few days, I was free to go. That level of service is very hard to beat!

She asked questions and listened carefully to my answers to build a picture of the various issues I’ve experienced and see whether they’re linked. She was really clear about the next steps and reasons for the tests and interventions. I was left hopeful that these would help relieve my symptoms and find out what is causing the inflammation.
