Dr Mistry is a fantastic psychiatrist who has really gone above and beyond with me. Having had plenty of negative experiences with other clinicians in the past, Dr Mistry stands out as a doctor who is not only kind and compassionate, but also extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Dr Mistry has supported me through extreme grief, depressive episodes, and extremely heightened anxiety. He has a holistic approach that focuses on medication as part of a wider picture of other therapeutic interventions, and he always takes the time to explain his suggestions in detail, without instilling a feeling of any medical hierarchy. The only area Dr Mistry is less specialised in is neurodivergent conditions such as ADHD, so it would be fantastic for him to gain further training in this as neurodivergent condition can be closely linked to mental health challenges. Bar this, I would not hesitate at all in recommending Dr Mistry to others. He has been an immense help to me, and I am very grateful for his kindness and expertise.

All seemed to be going well and at the close of my appointment the consultant asked me to have a blood test done outwith the Cathedral Also he advised that I should make an appointment for the operating procedure downstairs at reception. Circa end of April When I went to the desk I was advised that the member of staff was off that pm and I would receive a call tomorrow Next day I contacted my surgery about the blood sample and test. Late on my surgery called back to advise they were not willing to arrange the test as they were not treating me I received no call from Cathedrai that day The next day I waited to on and called Cathedral Spoke to Clare a few times and essence of conversation was that all was on hold as consultant on holiday and not available till 17th February Also no progress can be made with blood sample and rest even although I asked them to read my consultation notes !!! So I could comment more however this is the essence of a mot disappointing situation after my consultation

Mr Tony Jacob

After a year of back and forward to various different hospitals and appointments and symptoms being ignored, I finally and thankfully was seen by Mr Jacob. He was very professional, friendly and most importantly saw and heard my concerns. I got answers and was booked in for surgery. I had a very enlarged thyroid with numerous nodules that had previously been missed by other consultants and my symptoms absolutely debilitating. During surgery Mr Jacob found my thyroid had also grown around the back of neck so took a little longer. I felt great after my surgery, Mr Jacob came to see me the next morning and I was kept in updated of what was going to happen throughout and after the surgery. I had no questions unanswered and felt very cared for. Im extremely grateful that Mr Jacob was my surgeon and would highly recommend him. My scar is barely noticeable only two months later and my healing was fairly easy - thanks to Mr Jacob my procedure was a great success!

I am so so grateful to Mr Malde -he was very clear with his explanations and he really gave me 100 per cent at his consultations. . I have previously had amazing care from the consultant who carried two open heart surgeries and I would say that my feelings are that they really are the superheroes of life.because they have the skills to offer everyone a brilliant chance of recovery but for those of us who have very significant co-morbities and a real risk to our lives they are brave enough to take that risk to save us. I am in awe of the amazing treatment I received at Leicester from everyone I met. I consider myself very very lucky to have received such amazing treatment from everyone but especially Mr Malde. I am sorry to have taken so long to reply but I don't understand my new phone so it has taken me time to get going. Very grateful thanks again to Mr Malde.

When we first visited Mr Matar, as a walker, I'd virtually ground to a halt to a lot of activity and was expecting to be told my knee just needed a little 'tweaking'. How naive!! It was quite a shock to be told that I needed a total knee replacement. However, Mr Matar told me he could totally fix it, he filled me with such confidence and I couldn't wait to get it done. It's a tough operation but with kind support from nurses, physios and the whole Park team I'm delighted with the surgery with Mr Matar - I'm so pleased he could 'fix' my knee and give me a totally new lease of life. Now I tell myself I'm bionic with my new teenager knee and have the rest of my time to appreciate and enjoy life.

The surgery itself went very smoothly with an epidural and sedation and post-op the care was thorough and well co-ordinated. I'd been forewarned that it was a painful operation but still I needed to experience this first hand. With the kind support of family and friends (they formed a 'I Love my New Knee' Whatsapp group to liaise with one another) my good recovery has taken me by surprise. The hospital was totally 'there' for me with any enquiries. I'm so grateful to have had this opportunity for such prompt 'no fuss' surgical care with a fabulous hospital experience. Thank you.

As soon as I got there I was encouraged to relax, when i went in to the theatre for my procedure the nurses Lissy Jacob and Sue Gatrell made me feel very relaxed and explained how to take the gas and air, then Mr Farrukh Khan the consultant explained in detail what he was about to do. Op went well only a slight bit of pain so quick puff of gas helped. Passed on to recovery nurse who's name i didn't get but she was very good checking me over and making me laugh before discharging me. WOULD SAY ANYONE HAVING TO GO HERE WILL BE WELL LOOKED AFTER.

I came to see Dr Kadwani as I was worried about an ongoing cough which I had for almost 2 months with concerns it may be asthma. He was extremely patient and listened to my concerns and organised all the appropriate tests to investigate things further. He answered all my queries with clear explanations. I felt reassured as had been quite worried for weeks and satisfied with all the tests he had arranged. I would definitely recommend him and would go back to see him if needed in the future.

My second visit to Clinic and Dr James Thing. This time for issues with ankle. Dr Thing asked questions regarding the ankle and a few exercises to ascertain problem areas and carried out ultra sound and explained this to me. Best option forward was injection which was pain free and advice on what to watch out for etc. Also recommended a follow up with podiatrist at portobello too. Great service for start to finish special mention to Luvena who was most helpful and professional.

I had cataract removal surgery from both eyes and for medical reasons by general anaesthetic. I had fallen over a few times and was really worried as the NHS waiting list was so long.. I decided that I could not wait and from initial consultation this was all arranged in under 3 weeks. Mr Girgis is very personable, reassuring and professional. at all times and I highly recommend him. The difference to my eyesight has been incredible and I cannot thank him enough.
