I live in London and I’ve been a professional chef for many years. I’ve always used herbs and minerals in my cooking, not just for flavor but for their healing benefits too. I’ve believed for a long time that natural remedies have real power, but I never thought I’d be using that belief to heal myself. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with HSV-1 and HSV-2. At first, I followed the standard approach and started taking antivirals like acyclovir. While they did reduce some of the symptoms temporarily, the outbreaks kept returning and I was constantly feeling tired and unwell, even though I maintained a clean diet and healthy routine. What really surprised me was that after running deeper lab tests, I also found out that I was carrying CMV and EBV infections. I had absolutely no idea these viruses were in my system. That’s when I decided to take a different path and consulted Dr. Arjun Kumar. He explained the Ayurvedic approach to treatment and how it focuses on removing the virus from the root. I started the Ayurvedic therapy on 19 November 2024. Given my background and understanding of medicinal herbs and minerals, I already knew the names of some of the ingredients in the protocol like Gandhak Rasayan, Swarna Makshik Bhasma, Abhrak Bhasma, Neem, Guduchi, and Bhumyamalaki. But the way they were used in a structured, clinical manner under Ayurvedic supervision was what made the real difference. The treatment included powerful Rasayana-based formulations and antiviral herbs, supported by a specific diet plan and detox process. My progress was monitored through monthly blood reports. Within just two months, my HSV-1 and HSV-2 IGG results turned negative. CMV cleared after about four months of consistent treatment. EBV took six months but finally turned non-reactive on the ELISA test. By the sixth month, all the viruses tested negative on PCR DNA qualitative testing as well. I’m now free from symptoms, my energy is restored, and I’m sleeping better and living with full strength again. The medicine isn’t easy to follow, especially with the strict precautions and bitter taste, but it works. This wasn’t just about controlling symptoms. It felt like my whole immune system was rebuilt. I didn’t even know I was carrying more than just herpes, and I’m grateful that everything was discovered and treated early. I’m sharing my experience on Doctify so that others in similar situations can see that healing is possible. I’ll continue to update my recovery and blood work for those who are still searching for a complete solution. Massively impressed with his knowledge and ability to put me at ease with my problems, presented myself to the clinic with a slipped disc at L4-L5 in agony with it all and was keen to try some other avenues other than chiropractic care, cupping, acupuncture etc all with little to no benefit as anyone who is in lumbar spine pain will know. The technology at the clinic was explained to me thoroughly and detailed as to how it can help me and I was really keen to get going. I was moving more after each session and I’m now in nowhere near as much pain as I was so it’s been a great success. George has been great with me throughout always checking in on me to see how I’m doing and you really get a feel he cares for his clients. Would 100% recommended this to anyone who’s looking to try some new treatment that actually works! It’s been the most affective I’ve tried and I can’t speak highly enough of George and his skills, anyone suffering with lower back pain I would massively recommend giving it a try, stick to the diet plan and listen to the advice from George and you will feel a huge difference.

My experience at the Edinburgh Clinic was very good. My experience at the Consultation in Galashiels was less good. The Galashiels Clinic it self was good I did not have to wait and the staff in the centre were friendly but I felt the optician for some reason did not want me to have the procedure. That is why I had to pay for two consultations because he put me off so much the first time I did not go ahead with the surgery. When I eventually went back for another consultation my sight had deteriorated so I was unable to have the lenses that I had originally wanted. I don't know what it was but he seemed unhappy that I did not want to wear glasses. So when the second time I had to have lenses for distance but would still need glasses he was more satisfied, or that's how it seemed to me. He did not know my history and the struggles I have had with lack of confidence and inability to do what I wanted due to poor sight and having to wear glasses. It felt as if the optician in Galashiels was very much a gatekeeper and decided what patients wanted and needed. I was unhappy with that.

Everybody very friendly and polite. Waiting room and treatment room are pleasant and comfortable. Dental exam was thorough and professional. I declined the offer of an X-ray. Actually I wasn’t offered an xray, rather I was told I was going to have one, but I said I’d rather not, unless there was a specific need (which there wasn’t). The appointment with the hygienist was also assumed, without the dentist giving any reason to see her. I don’t know what real benefit there is from a session with a hygienist, but I seem to manage ok only seeing one every few years, without developing any problems, so I don’t think it’s really essential. These extras should be discussed and offered if there is a good reason for them, rather than assumed.

Great experience at Abbington, staff amazing and great ‘community’ type accommodation and ethos which creates inclusion and peers helping each other… ultimately creating connections which are so vital to recovery over addiction. With this community spirit in mind, residents are expected to keep their rooms and common areas clean and tidy… which at times might be not up to some peoples standards! However, feedback and suggestions are welcomed during a weekly forum and things are taken on board and actioned. Overall, and I’ve been in rehab a number of times, I’d definitely recommend this 12 step based treatment centre.
