I have had two appointments with Dr John O'Dwyer to date. On each occasion his compassionate, reassuring and attentive manner made me feel relaxed and heard - by listening carefully, asking perceptive questions to fully understand my situation, and by giving me ample time to think before I replied. In turn he responded to my questions with appropriate detail and language for me to fully appreciate the underlying causes of my symptoms. He had remembered me from my initial appointment so I could go straight into the second appointment without the need to recap previous information. Dr O’Dwyer sent his follow up letters in a timely manner which reflected an accurate, complete and articulate summary of our appointments; during the first visit I had asked him to document one of his specific statements, and he had remembered to do so. I have had many interactions with medically trained professionals through both my work as an auditor in clinical trials and of course as a patient, and it was refreshing to have been treated so well and provided with such high quality documentation.

Dr Arnold is amazing, she truly cares for her patients and wants the best outcome for them. I have suffered with eczema/skin reactions/scalp sensitivity consistently for a year now and Dr Arnold has made such a difference to my skin by giving me detailed information about the treatments which I need to use and what I can do to help my skin recover or keep it at bay. I recently had my second consultation with Dr Arnold about an ongoing new skin issue, again, Dr Arnold left me feeling relieved in the sense of I know one day my skin will be better! She gave me thorough explanations about my next steps, what to do, for how long and wrote it all down for me to take away with. We booked in a follow up and have discussed what further treatment would look like for myself and my skin if necessary after the follow up. I highly recommend visiting Dr Arnold with any concerns or questions, she listens and knows exactly what to do and what’s best for you! .

Being assessed and diagnosed with ADHD as an adult wasn’t easy emotionally, but they handled everything with real professionalism, patience, and understanding. I never felt rushed or judged, and they took the time to explain things clearly so I actually understood what was going on rather than feeling labelled. Since the diagnosis, I’ve felt more clarity about myself and my wellbeing, and that alone has been hugely valuable. I travelled a good distance to see him but felt that this would be worth it, to see an expert in this field. He was extremely caring and pleasant and explained thoroughly about all eventualities that may happen in surgery. Post surgery he took the time to come and see me whilst in hospital on more than one occasion and was genuinely caring. I was a bit nervous on this surgery because of other people’s stories but my experience was so smooth! Everyone was lovely and explained it so clearly to me, the surgery was so quick and I’m barely in any discomfort, and more importantly during the surgery Mr Adeel made sure to watch my teeth (veneers) which was a lovely touch as working in that area both the surgeon and anaesthesiologist it’s very difficult I can imagine! But to still take the time to be careful around them which was another worry of mine so all round cannot fault the surgery or the entire experience.
