Mr Stuart Bell displays professional and clear communication with patients, offering excellent explanations of procedures and recovery processes. Many patients report outstanding surgical results, achieving significant improvements in mobility and a return to pain-free activity following interventions like knee replacements and meniscus repair. Seamless care and attention to detail from initial consultation to post-operative rehabilitation are praised, with Mr Bell's expertise sought for resolving knee pain, torn meniscus, and procedures involving arthroscopy or robotic surgery techniques.
All aspects of my care, from first online contact, in person appointments, procedure and through to discharge were first class, and the advice I received upon discharge to assist my recovery was most valuable. 10 months on I have made a full recovery and returned to full fitness and activity. I greatly appreciate the work and care of Mr Bell and his team.
My treatment was seamless under the care of Mr Bell. Both pre and post-op. Full explanations of my procedure were given and care and consideration to the next steps in recovery.
Mr Bell was excellent, Explained everything in a way you understood what the issue was and what the options were to have the repair done
At my final visit Mr Bell was pleased as was I. Kindly explained about a femur fracture that had happened recently to me and was nothing to do with my treatments with Mr Bell, which was very good of him. Forgot to ask him whether, if I was cremated my knee replacement would have to be removed.
I got a knee replacement on the 17th of march the surgeon doctor bell. I visited him today the 1st of june. He is pleased with my progress. I cant thhank doctor bell enough i have no knee pain. Dr bell is a really pleasant doctor. I cant thank him enough. Thank you great surgeon.
Everything went as explained. The whole experience was fantastic from entering the hospital until I left. I would certainly recommend Mr Bell Thanks again Tom M.
I was under Mr Bells care as I underwent acl and meniscus reconstruction surgery. From the minute I enquired about the procedure to this very day the care, attention to detail, professionalism and warm feeling of actually being cared for throughout this injury was beyond amazing. Such a daunting procedure was made so much easier by the care I received and the most amazing care of Mr Bell and all staff involved. I have had many people say to me the job is incredibly neat and the reconstruction is brilliant and this is from other professionals. I can’t rate Mr Bell and Nuffield Glasgow enough. I am very much indebted to them for giving me hope of a return to top level track and field athletics. Once again thank you
Final sign off for full knee replacement. Went well, good opportunity to raise points and get feedback. Excellent.
I was extremely nervous to have my total knee replacement by Makro in May of 2025. Mr Bell was wonderful and extremely understanding of my worries. He took time to explain everything clearly. The operation itself was nothing like I expected. The team were skilled at putting me at ease and the operation went extremely well. The following day I was sble to walk a few steps to the toilet with a walking aid and went home the following day. I had regular follow up visits with Mr Bell when he thoroughly checked my knee, also checking my pain meds were sufficient. An avid walker, before my op, I had been unable to continue with my long walks due to pain. One year on, I am back to full fitness, walking 50k a week with no pain; all thanks to the surgical skills of Mr Bell. I highly recommend him as a surgeon should you require his skills.
I felt very comfortable and reassured in all my discussions with Mr Bell on my procedure I had very few questions as everything was explained to me clearly.
I have known Mr Bell for 28 years. He is an excellent doctor and a highly skilled surgeon. I have no hesitation in endorsing him and have every confidence in his abilities.
