My first consultation with Dr Yazbek took place over a year ago. During that meeting I received all the answers to my questions with regards to managing my situation with uterine fibroids. Dr Yazbek described clearly all available treatments to me, their benefits and potential risks. While still on the NHS waiting list, I have decided that I needed more urgent help as the fibroids were still growing and making my daily life rather difficult. Not only is Dr Yazbek, whom I chose to be my surgeon - a very skilled professional, but his way of communicating with a patient (calm, measured, empathetic and with great listening skills) make it very easy for me to recommend him to other patients.

Dr McIndoe is always so lovely, professional, polite and always takes the time to ask how I’m doing in all aspects of my life. I feel completely at ease around him especially as I don’t particularly enjoy smear tests.

Mr Vakharia came very highly recommended and we were extremely impressed . I had been suffering for a while and Mr Vakharia took his time at each consultation to go through all the options explaining in detail the benefits and challenges of each. Mr Evans is a breath of fresh air! He explains everything in a way even my stressed out brain understood, with an excellent bedside manner. He remembered me and my case without question and is without doubt the best surgeon I have dealt with. Mr Hextall is very calm and knowledgable, he feels like a safe pair of hands. His explanation of the problem and the process of treatment was clear. He was attentive and available - he even took a call on a Sunday afternoon whilst away on holiday, which resulted in the swift treatment and resolution of a slight complication.

Being in menopause, I know how hard it is to find a gynaecologist who not only doesn't dismiss you, but also has done enough homework to learn the latest findings in the field and to dispel the myths that still surround such an important stage of a woman's life. As I said above I'm not in the UK anymore, but I still consider him the only gynaecologist I trust blindly.
