During my recent appointment with Dr. Giuliani for my daughter's follow-up, he once again showed his unwavering attention to detail by providing thorough and considerate answers to all my questions. Based on my multiple interactions with Dr. Giuliani, I can confidently say that his level of care and commitment to his patients is outstanding. I came across Mr Munasinghes profile whilst searching for local bariatric surgery consultations and was instantly drawn in! Prior to my appointment with Mr Munasinghe, I had seen two other bariatric consultants so I had a decent idea of what to expect and what type of questions will be asked. My appointment time was at 5.30pm and I was seen on time. Mr Munasinghe escorted me into his room and the first thing he said to me was ‘you are my last patient of the day so I have all the time for you’. This was such a warm welcome and I instantly knew he is the surgeon for me! My previous experiences have always been negative whenever medical appointments have been at the end of the day so this really meant a lot to me 😊 Mr Munasinghe is extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly explained my options without making me feel rushed and he showed great care and compassion for my circumstances whilst answering all my questions. Mr Munasinghe considered the wider aspect of my care, outside the surgery itself, and his communication skills were amazing, plus he’s really funny! Working in healthcare and with clinicians myself, he ticked all the boxes for me especially as he highlighted the importance of bariatric surgery involving a multidisciplinary team, and I couldn’t be more grateful for his time, care and professionalism towards me during my consultation. I have already booked my surgery with Mr Munasinghe and I am so excited to begin this journey. I must thank his lovely secretary Ana too, for always replying promptly and for providing all the necessary information and for making this journey as smooth as possible. Warm, empathetic and very professional. Doctor Kumar places you at ease by providing his full uninterrupted attention to everything you tell him, enabling him to immediately understand what may be wrong and subscribe the course of action which needs to be taken. Due to a very busy schedule, I left it for years over Covid to understand what my problem may or may not be and I wish I had approached Doctor Kumar sooner. The action he recommended as well as conducted didn’t take as long as I thought it would and a huge worry has now been lifted, with Doctor Kumar offering options for me to consider in my own time. Very impressed.
