Feel very fortunate to have been operated on by Mr Casula, it is now 2 months post surgery (mitral valve repair, PFO closure) and I am feeling very well. My recovery is such, that I am now doing light running, returning to some golf, and day to day activities/work no issue at all! The scar from surgery is healing very well - feeling great! I was referred to this doctor following a regular BUPA check up during which time I discussed experiencing occasional shortage of breath and some sensation of compression in my upper chest/lower throat. He explained carefully to me the possible causes and as a precaution recommended that I have a CT scan and MRI, after which he patiently and in simple language, explained to me the results.
