Very good initial consultation. Very attentive and informative on day of surgery. All went well and at follow up appointment was examined and all good so I was discharged.

At nearly 80 years of age, I was nervous about having a hernia operation. However, Mr Menenzes put me at ease with his friendly, empathetic matter and clear explanation of the procedure. I had researched all treatments with the advantages and disadvantages and as I result I had many questions but Mr Aruna Munasinghe took the time to discuss everything with me, he gave me titles of current evidence and explained all the ins and outs of surgery. I have never met as brilliant a consultant and surgeon as Mr Aruna Munasinghe and I work within healthcare.

Rather light approach to my post-op experience. I am seriously concerned as to my post-op progress, yet I felt dismissed. Despite expressing my issues, I had literally 5 minutes consultation while being told that I'm doing great. Constant vomiting and inability to eat\hold the food down 2 months after the surgery does not reflect "doing great" in my opinion. I'm considering seeking a second opinion.
