Following a bad wrist fracture and needing a 2nd surgery, Dr Wharton has taken the time to re-explain everything, to go through all the scans with me and explained all the available options, without rushing. He was friendly, approachable and understanding. I left the appointment really impressed and feeling really positive about the next steps in my treatment and re-assured about the upcoming surgery. After the surgery, Dr Wharton did a real follow-up, making sure I was ok, even calling me when I got home from the hospital. I came to Gus with a calf injury which had stopped me running eight weeks out from a marathon. Gus diagnosed the issue, helped me strengthen the muscles to prevent it returning and gave me a training plan that got me back on track. He’s knowledgeable, practical and realistic. He understood I didn’t want a zero risk plan - but to get to the event and complete it (which I did with no pain and a time I’m delighted with).
