I had high tibial osteotomy knee surgery performed by Mr Amit Shah at the Spire Hospital Blackpool in May 2023, Mr Shah is a brilliant surgeon and the procedure has been a huge success for me, and it has prevented me having a full knee replacement. One year on I am now walking around 12/15 K a day with my dog, previously it would have only been around 3K and then the pain would get to much for me, I would encourage anyone who is offered this as an alternative to a new Knee to go for it, the future benefits are well worth it 👍.

I am very happy with the outcome, everything has gone very quickly and well. Mr Phaltankar and the team did a great job.

I found Mr Jarratt very thorough and helpful, he put my mind at rest, and explained in advance everything that was going to happen during the procedure. I felt very safe in his hands and had total faith in his ability to perform the operation. He came to see me before the operation in my room and again before I was discharged. I was more than happy with my experience with Mr Jarratt and would happily recommend him to others.

Very friendly explained the pros and cons of the operation. Follow up consultation was good. Forwarded x rays by email as I requested. .
