I came to Gus with a calf injury which had stopped me running eight weeks out from a marathon. Gus diagnosed the issue, helped me strengthen the muscles to prevent it returning and gave me a training plan that got me back on track. He’s knowledgeable, practical and realistic. He understood I didn’t want a zero risk plan - but to get to the event and complete it (which I did with no pain and a time I’m delighted with). Professor Kidd is caring and compassionate, attentive and extremely approachable. Unfortunately some doctors make me feel that my own observations, experiences and conclusions are worthless (referring to them as hearsay). Professor Kidd doesn't do that. He is very good at getting to the nub of a patient's health issue and tailoring a course of action to deal with the problem in the best and fastest way. I should add that Professor Kidd is also recognised as one of the country's top experts in this field.
