The only way I can describe this place is profound. I had hit rock bottom with addiction and was lost, introverted, full of shame and arrived with anxiety, paranoi and completely powerless over my addiction. In 14 days, I learnt so much about myself, the disease and how to handle it. I left with no feelings of anxiety or cravings but have the tools to manage them should they happen and a clear plan for the next chapter of my life. The staff are incredible, the location and garden is unbelievable, you have to see it to believe it. The miracles that happened in this stay on a daily basis and the fact I can wake up excited for the day instead of live in a living hell is profound. This place performs miracles, and is the most profound experience of my life. There is one caveat, you have to, at least in my experience have reached a point where the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of changing. You have to want to do it and not for someone else In my experience I had hit rock bottom and knew if I continued for a few months it was the end. Now, I wake up excited for not just everyday but every hour, every minute, every moment. Thank you to all the team at the priory The guy with the outside umbrella :)

Requests were often ignored, delayed or actioned and I was not informed. This happened throughout the 4 weeks and ioften had to chase and i stilldont have someof the things i requested. Cleaning was poor and rushed, the cleaner was over stretched and not supported by the other staff and treated badly by the operations manger.

We have only had a couple of session so far, however they have already had a big impact and feel like things can finally improve.
