Tom is an exceptional consultant, following a failed operation under the NHS, which made me very apprehensive of undergoing further surgery, I was put at ease by Tom's understanding of my concerns and reassurance of the positive outcome I could expect. Tom took time to explain in detail what the procedure would entail and the aftercare that was required to ensure the operation was a success and did not reoccur. His bedside manner and empathy towards my nervousness were excellent and made me feel at ease both before and during the operation. Unfortunately I have had my fair share of operations for different ailments and would rate Tom as one of the best consultants that I have been treated by.

Dr. Srikantha was very patient, friendly, and took the time to explain all aspect of the procedure ie advantages and disadvantages and what to expect during and after the operation .

I had been very nervous about the operation I was to have because of my Dad telling me about his operation which it transpires was different. However Shreya was so calm and knowledgeable and I felt total trust in her ability to perform the major operation to protect my sight and it was the only way forward for me.
