I found him approachable and he addressed any doubts and questions, from me and my family, both knowledgeably and reassuringly and with appropriate humour. Perhaps the most outstanding feature of my experience with Professor Purkayastha was his compassion and clear devotion to what he does. He shows humility and never underestimates the trust placed in him, considering it an honour to be able to help. It was a privilege to be treated by him and my surgery has been a huge success! Special thanks also to Dr Alex Wickham, consultant anaesthetist, who prepared me for surgery and allayed any fears. Also to Marcella who makes everything run smoothly and for always being friendly and helpful.

I had a consultation with Mr Giordano and about 3 weeks later i had my operation i had a umbilical hernia and stomach muscle repair done via laparoscopic this was very successful i would highly recommend Mr Giordano And also his secretary Cheryl was very helpful in every way Thanks

Miss scarpinata, is the most caring surgeon you could wish to have she made it quite clear what was involved in what was a huge operation, sets your mind at rest and shows huge amount of empathy, i cant thant her enough hughly professional

Maryam made the whole ordeal very personable. I was in great hands throughout the year. Even to the point I felt comfortable prior to my second surgery as I knew I was in good hands. Her smile is infectious and I am so pleased to have been blessed to be treated by her, albeit it being during a traumatic period.

Mr Sains was friendly and respectful, explaining the options fully and why he recommended the procedure I had. I’m really pleased with the outcome and how he made me feel comfortable and understood in dealing with a sensitive and potentially embarrassing body area!

Initial consultation & procedures were dealt with well & quite quick. However, I then had to chase for a follow up, as there was still no reason identified for my diagnosis. The secretary is difficult to get hold, often no replies to emails, so followed up through Spire secretaries. Eventually got a telephone appt, but didn't get called, was then told I should have gone in-person. Next appt cancelled at short notice. Re-schedule appt the Professor didn't turn up, was then told clinic was cancelled, but had no notification, so resulted in a wasted journey. Not sure if I can now be bothered with the hassle to follow up on my health issues!

My experience with Ms Stevenson was so pleasant, from my consultation to my finally check up! Ms Stevenson was lovely and made me feel at ease. If I needed any other or further surgery I'd be requesting her. Couldn't fault her at all
