I have had two appointments with Dr O’Dwyer after what appeared to be a stroke in June of this year. Dr O’Dwyer was easy to talk to, good at listening to my rather long and complicated explanation of what had happened, and at answering my many questions. He came to the conclusion that rather than having had a stroke, I had had a migraine, and gave a clear and comprehensible explanation of why he felt this was the case. He organised an MRI which proved that he was right. Most important of all, I felt completely confident in his medical expertise and judgement.

I was surprised at just how accessible the Professor was especially in the early stages. He explained everything carefully ; followed up all my queries and responded to the information supplied from my radiotherapy sessions without delay. The net effect was to increase my confidence.
