I had surgery at the end of May with Mr Chakravorty and I am over the moon with the results.. It wasn’t a surgery I was planning, it was more a need to do rather than a want to do, so I felt quite hesitant, but I needn’t have worried. Mr Chakravortty reassured me throughout, I felt very much in safe hands. It was the smoothest surgery I have undergone and the recovery has been just as easy.

Having spent many years being afraid to go ahead and get the surgery I have always wished for, I finally found the courage to do so, after carefully searching for the right surgeon to do my procedure , I came across dr Saleh and from my very first consultation I Knew I had made an excellent choice, he made me feel so comfortable and at ease, he knew exactly what I wanted, the outcome of my surgery was amazing, I feel like a whole new woman, i would highly recommend dr Saleh to anyone as he is the best in the business, his work speaks for itself, thank you for giving me that huge confidence boost I have always wanted.

5 days post mastopexy and implant exchange review. With the amazing Simon Smith (both times) May 2017 - Under muscle 550cc Harley Medical Group To April 2024 - Under muscle 725cc Springfield Hospital Uplift with donut scars (he is amazing!) Recovery has been incredible. Was down in OR at 0930, out in recovery by 1230, my room by 1330 starving hungry inhaling the most amazing tasting sandwich.. home by 1700h. I had Niven as my anaesthetist this time (Hywell in 2017) who was so lovely, and the most amazing cocktail of drugs. The hospital was wonderful, and even better than the previous. The nurses were funny, kind and caring, and I met Sheena who was also wonderful. Not felt any pain at all, kept topped up on ibuprofen and paracetamol for day 2&3, just forgot how annoying post op anaesthetic bloat is..! Day 1 post op (Friday) had a shower and felt amazing, managed to get a proper look at them and removed the gauze, keeping the bra and binder on for 3 days, but felt even better once that was off. I can feel my nipples, and the lower breast area where the other scars are. There is the most minimal bruising, and obviously under the waterproof dressings there is some marker and blood hence the colour in the photos. I am so so so happy, and really glad Simon was able to go bigger and change the huge gap I had in the middle. I had my last BA in 2017 weighing around 12/13 stone, I then had a 360 body lift & arm lift in 2020, and I’ve got down to 9st2lb so my ribcage was prominent with a huge gap between. Now the pockets have been brought in they are even better. Can’t wait till they fluff!!! 🥰 #teamsimon

Mr Cunnick, Met me with a welcoming handshake and smile, which immediately made me feel at ease. He asked thorough questions which predetermined his thoughts, carry out an examination by hand and then securing an immediate appointment for an ultrasound to take place, he attended during the ultrasound to provide reassurance of the outcome. Ultimately within an hour had a full consultation, organised ultra sound and answer/diagnosis. Extremely happy to have seen Mr Cunnick and delighted with the outcome. Warm Regards

The whole family's concerns were addressed but at the centre was the patient and her concerns a truly exemplary consultation in every way. To take a case that had long been beyond the reach of NHS dogma; to deconstruct it and then elementally re-combine the components around a single evidence backed core explanation, was an absolute object lesson in how academic and free-thinking medicine can be conducted to the benefit of the patient, their family and support networks. This consultation was a masterclass in common sense practice triumphing over outdated concepts and barriers in thinking. We cant thank Dr Brennan enough for returning self belief and faith in herself back to our daughter.

I thankfully found Professor Vaidya as I wished to avoid having a full course of radiotherapy following a lumpectomy. Less than an hour after contacting him, he personally called me. Throughout this journey, he has always been professional, caring, supportive and answered every single question with total honesty. He with others, "pioneered" TARGET-IORT treatment and this is what I went had, having been identified as a suitable candidate. I have now been through successful surgery and I am convinced I have taken the very best course of treatment for me at this time with the personal support of Professor Vaidya and his team. I could not recommend him more highly.

I was very lucky to find Professor Zoe Winters on Doctify following my discovery of a lump in my breast.   Professor Winters clearly and professionally explained my condition, and thanks also to the thoroughness of her excellent team, Professor Winters ensured I received all the appropriate diagnostic investigations. Hence, I had as complete a picture as possible before the options were precisely explained to me. Each consultation was followed up with a comprehensive letter explaining everything we had discussed, including test results and links to relevant clinical papers and leaflets so that I could make informed decisions about my treatment. Anyone under Professor Winter’s care will find her infectious positivity incredibly reassuring during a difficult time. Importantly, I cannot thank Professor Winters enough for her patience and tenacious work during my subsequent surgery. I received a shock BRCA 1 diagnosis in July this year. From my first appointment with Miss Franks, I knew I’d found the right surgeon for me. Not only is Miss Franks incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, authoritative and highly experienced - she’s human too, displaying warmth, kindness and empathy. The whole process from diagnosis to bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction has been seamless under her care and guidance. She and her team have taken on the burden of making sure I speak to the correct people (from geneticist to psychologist) and making all arrangements. At what is an incredibly scary, daunting and overwhelming time, having Miss Franks looking after me and figuratively holding my hand has been sanity saving. She is an incredibly rare combination of clinical excellence and skill, professionalism and compassion. I feel so lucky to have been under her exceptional care.
