I had a clear idea of what I hoped for, which was to replicate the correction I had enjoyed for many years with contact lenses. This was to read and see at a distance without glasses. Tom is an exceptional consultant, following a failed operation under the NHS, which made me very apprehensive of undergoing further surgery, I was put at ease by Tom's understanding of my concerns and reassurance of the positive outcome I could expect. Tom took time to explain in detail what the procedure would entail and the aftercare that was required to ensure the operation was a success and did not reoccur. His bedside manner and empathy towards my nervousness were excellent and made me feel at ease both before and during the operation. Unfortunately I have had my fair share of operations for different ailments and would rate Tom as one of the best consultants that I have been treated by.

I couldn’t have had a more perfect consultant to have operated on my cataract. Miss Pelisini explained everything at my initial consultation and during the procedure itself . My follow up appointment was today and again she took the time to answer my questions and to reassure me . Overall my experience was wonderful .
