From our very first appointment at 6 weeks pregnant, Dan put us completely at ease and was very reassuring through a difficult first trimester with hyperemesis. Dan was always available to contact and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We opted for a planned c section and cannot fault any aspect of the experience, down to the scar which is very neat thanks to an expert hand. I would recommend Dan to anyone.

As a family we couldn’t recommend Dr Subair enough. He is everything you could ask for in a doctor! He made me feel at ease after an anxious pregnancy, always talking through any questions or concerns I had. My experience wouldn’t have been the same without him and the safe arrival of our baby. Mr Attilakos showed such kindness, warmth & patience from the moment I became his patient before my IVF cycle in Cyprus. As a 54 year old I was a little nervous about being pregnant at this age, & he assessed my health & fitness & made me feel totally confident about pursuing a pregnancy. The ongoing support & reassurance via bloods, scans & consultations by Mr Attilakos ensured I was relaxed, chilled & stress-free the whole time. Also any question I had however minor he would reply to me in 24 hours maximum. Despite his senior position Mr Attilakos makes you feel totally at ease & makes you feel you can ask any question at all. The whole experience was incredible & I fully intend engaging with Mr Attilakos when I go back to Cyprus for baby no.2. Thanks doctor for helping make my ultimate dream come true & believing in me despite my age.

Writing this after a week passed after the labour. The labour induction was scheduled at Fitzrovia UCLH, but the baby decided to arrive two days earlier, at night. When there was full dilation, Dr Shalini allowed me not to push right away but when I’m ready (I think labouring down took about half an hour), also she was able to get out the baby while I was on my knees with just a little stitch. When I was pushing, I wasn’t able to listen to instructions, but I’ve remembered Dr Shalini pushing instructions from our prenatal meetings and it helped. I was able to discharge from the hospital the same day my kid was born and never remembered to take pain killers, never needed them. So if you want to have vaginal birth at Fitzrovia UCLH (if it’s possible in your circumstances) I highly recommend Dr Shalini.

Mr Wimalasundera supported me throughout my twin pregnancy, through to birth. He is a fantastic consultant and I would recommend him wholeheartedly. Throughout my pregnancy I felt that Mr Wimalasundera was an ally and trusted adviser. He is clearly a specialist in his field and also offers a measured, kind and supportive approach. I always felt in extremely safe hands and I trusted Mr Wimalasundera’s judgment. His skills as a surgeon are excellent. My c section went extremely smoothly and my recovery was fantastic, which I credit to Mr Wimalasundera entirely! I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Mr Wimalasundera if I were to become pregnant again. Indeed I’d be delighted!

Very openminded and mindful doctor concerns with the patient's wellbeing and solving the issues she was consulted for. She makes you feel comfortable and is a good listener.

Dr Velauthar is very friendly, patient, and thorough. She answered all my questions carefully and made me feel at ease. I have been with similar Gynae problems to two other Gynaecologist but with simple treatment and advice my condition is now much better and feel confident that I received the best care. Dr. Shangaris was extremely helpful near the end of my pregnancy. He took the time to explain issues to me and answered my many questions. He and the other doctors he works with were caring, professional, and made me feel much better about what had with another doctor been a confusing situation. I would love to have him as my doctor again for any future pregnancies.
