I transferred to Dr. Manju’s care late in my pregnancy for a planned C section and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! Dr. Manju made me feel very at ease since our first appointment, she never had me question my decision for an elective C section and always answered my questions (and I had a lot!). The procedure itself went extremely well and, again, she and the team made me feel very at ease from start to finish. Recovery also went extremely well and, now at 2 months postpartum, I feel better than ever.

Writing this after a week passed after the labour. The labour induction was scheduled at Fitzrovia UCLH, but the baby decided to arrive two days earlier, at night. When there was full dilation, Dr Shalini allowed me not to push right away but when I’m ready (I think labouring down took about half an hour), also she was able to get out the baby while I was on my knees with just a little stitch. When I was pushing, I wasn’t able to listen to instructions, but I’ve remembered Dr Shalini pushing instructions from our prenatal meetings and it helped. I was able to discharge from the hospital the same day my kid was born and never remembered to take pain killers, never needed them. So if you want to have vaginal birth at Fitzrovia UCLH (if it’s possible in your circumstances) I highly recommend Dr Shalini.

After a traumatic birth experience with my first child under NHS care, I have decided to go private with my second one. Throughout my pregnancy, Mina gave me confidence with her rich experience, calm explanation of all brith options, and respect to my own choice. The delivery was well planned, and I felt in control of the whole experience. After birth recovery has also been very smooth. Thank you Mina!

I recently had a total hysterectomy which has been highly successful. Ms. Eleni Mavrides was thorough and exceptional from our initial consultation at The Portland through to the post-op follow-up. She provided excellent guidance while discussing my options regarding the best type of hysterectomy for my personal case and I am delighted with the outcome now, several weeks later. No complications and the bikini line scar is neat and discreet too, a bonus.
