One of the best doctors I have ever seen with great empathy

I have been a patient of Mr Aquilina for the past twenty one years and could not be more grateful to have been introduced to him all those years ago. Initially I went to see him after a miscarriage and he then cared for me during both my subsequent pregnancies and births. He has also patiently guided me through my menopause treatment, carefully explaining and reassuring me at every stage, ultimately something that was transformative for my quality of life. My most recent appointment with him was for a mirena replacement, part of my HRT. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but he was patient, didnt make me feel rushed and did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible. Nurse Mila was wonderful also and didn't leave my side! I can honestly say that I trust Mr Aquilina with my life and could not recommend him highly enough. His knowledge, experience and kind bedside manner would be hard to beat.

My first consultation with Dr Yazbek took place over a year ago. During that meeting I received all the answers to my questions with regards to managing my situation with uterine fibroids. Dr Yazbek described clearly all available treatments to me, their benefits and potential risks. While still on the NHS waiting list, I have decided that I needed more urgent help as the fibroids were still growing and making my daily life rather difficult. Not only is Dr Yazbek, whom I chose to be my surgeon - a very skilled professional, but his way of communicating with a patient (calm, measured, empathetic and with great listening skills) make it very easy for me to recommend him to other patients.

My experience was very positive: from the first words, Dr Premetis put me at ease, he was compassionate, gave clear explanations and was kind, while remaining very professional.

Very pleasant, experienced, honest and direct. The only feedback I have is I left the appointment ‘unsure’ (referring to consultation appointment). But then I was told that all would be explained in my pre-assessment after.

We felt very reassured from the first appointment with Dr Kunal. Dr Kunal explained my condition clearly without the complex medical jargon and the options available and their pros and cons which allowed us to choose the best option according to our preferences. We admire his passion and caring. He is always reachable to clear out any concerns or for advice. I have successfully undergone a procedure performed by Dr Kunal and on road to full recovery.
