I recently had a lower eyelid operation preformed by Mr Lorenzo at Southampton Hospital Eye Unit. Throughout the consultation, operation and the follow up appointment I found him to be exceptional professional. He explained everything very clearly with the procedure and also how successful the operation had been. During the operation he was in total control and I was highly impressed with his and his team's performance. I could not fault any part of the procedure.

Mr Luff put me at ease straight away and explained why I needed surgery with the aid of a model showing all the sections of the eye. He showed me where the cataract was which he would remove and replace with lenses. He asked what I desired from the outcome of the procedure to which I requested that I would prefer never to wear prescription glasses again or to wear contact lenses which I have used for about 40 years . He recommended Mulifocal lenses which I accepted as my preferred outcome.

My experience with Dr De Salvo was fantastic. She was kind, experienced, and extremely thorough.
