Based on a friend’s recommendation, I have been a patient of Dr. Saul Konviser at Montague Dental for the past four years. I can honestly say that the level of care and professionalism I have experienced is unparalleled. As someone in their fifties with a complex dental history, including a cleft palate and harelip involving many surgeries, I found it difficult to find a dentist in London who truly understands and accommodates such history. As a previous dentist once described, “you have a mouth like a museum given the detail and work inside that biting smile…” Dr. Konviser, or rather, Saul as I refer to him, exceeded all my expectations with a series of gentle approaches regarding the mental and physical concerns attached to a dental appointment. Straight away, I realized that Saul practices dentistry to engage with our lives and how we change and evolve over time, in the same way, our teeth continuously grow and expose emotional memories. From my very first visit, I was very impressed. The overall expertise and compassionate approach is increasingly rare. Saul took the time to thoroughly review my dental history and listened carefully to my concerns. This personalized attention made me feel confident and reassured that I was in capable hands, as Saul combines exceptional technical skill with genuine care for his patients’ well-being. In one such instance involving an expensive bridge that fell out three times, Saul managed to glue it back, and it has not moved since! My first visit and Stephanie made me feel very welcome and comfortable right from the start.. She was very good in explaining each stage of the process ahead and provided so much care and attention during the cleaning itself. Probably one of the most pleasant experiences I think I've had at a dentist.

I had sedation treatment with Dr Tanvi Bagtharia due to having a dental phobia and panic disorder. I needed a lot of work including root removals on both sides. Dr Tanvi put me at ease at my first consultation appointment, I left feeling my phobias were recognised, understood and respected with a plan of action in place. I had 2 further appointments for treatment and is all now completed. I feel like a black cloud has been lifted from my shoulders and my quality of life has improved so much in such a short amount of time due to the work Dr Tanvi has done. I can eat again without pain, my experience has been enjoyable, relaxing and positive, which I never thought I would ever hear myself say about dental work again. Dr Tanvi Bagtharia and her team empowered me to know, that dental healthcare doesn't have to induce anxiety or panic anymore.

Dr Kalkani was extremely kind, caring and thorough in explaining the surgery my 14 year old daughter needed. The surgery was well organised and planned smoothly and despite our surgical anxiety she was patient and reassuring. Special attention was paid to allay our fears no matter how minor. I would highly recommended Dr Kalkani and her paediatric team as extremely proficient, knowledgeable and gentle.
