During the initial appointment Dr Karuppaiah gave me all of the information required so that I could make an informed decision on the best treatment for my hand. On the day of the surgery he again made me feel at ease an I had full confidence going into theatre. No complications and my hand is healing as expected.

I consider Mr Peter Domas to be an excellent surgeon. I am delighted with the result of my reverse shoulder replacement surgery performed by him. Please don’t hesitate to go ahead if you are told you need this surgery. I am now pain free and the surgery has completely restored the use of my right shoulder, arm and hand in a surprisingly short time. On the day of surgery I was reassured by him with further explanation. Despite being the last patient of the day Peter was there at approximately 8.30pm to see me when I came round. He is extremely pleasant, at subsequent appointments has always been a pleasure to see him.

The experience was excellent in every respect. I did think I/we had made a decision to proceed with a hip replacement, instead of other measures described, but now that I have read the Professor`s post-consultation letter, I am not sure a replacement is agreed.
