I first spoke to Dr Scawn in 2023 and presented him with an eye that had been operated on multiple times by two previous surgeons. He did a detailed analysis of my situation and laid out the challenges and best steps. Everything was focussed on getting the right outcomes while being clear to explain the limitations due to the previous surgeries. Fast forward to 2024 and my eye is in a fantastic place. The patience of the approach taken was spot on and Dr Scawn was great throughout

I underwent lower blepharoplasty with Elizabeth Hawkes, but unfortunately, the results were not what I expected. The procedure left my under-eye area hollow and sunken, with noticeable orbital bone prominence and asymmetry. Despite Dr. Hawkes' claim of personalised surgery, my specific facial characteristics were not considered, leading to an undesirable outcome. While I had concerns about slight asymmetry and puffiness prior to the surgery, the result has left me feeling much worse, with saggy skin, deep hollows and constant discomfort like dry eyes and styes. Despite seeking opinions from other specialists, it seems the damage is irreversible. It's been a devastating experience, and Dr. Hawkes' response to my concerns lacked empathy and understanding. I urge others to carefully consider their options and not rely solely on social media and marketing claims. To add, it’s always a good idea to be cautious with online reviews, especially when there is a sudden surge in positive reviews around a negative one such as this. It could indicate potential manipulation. Check for patterns, inconsistencies, and look at the overall review history of the account to help assess the credibility of the reviews you are reading. Furthermore, my experience with the Cadogan Clinic’s complaints procedure was disappointing. I encountered delays in receiving responses and felt that my concerns were not effectively addressed. There were instances where follow-up was lacking, which made it challenging to have issues resolved.

I had Lasik surgery six weeks ago and nothing could have gone better. Tariq Ayoub and his team explained the process very clearly, and the tests were thorough. On the day of the surgery, Mr Ayoub and his team were reassuring, very professional and the surgery itself went very well.
