Our only negative experience of The Agora Clinic so far was our consultation call with Mr David Chui before the treatment began. We found his manner unsympathetic and abrupt. We were very aware of our prognosis, and my low AMH levels so nothing he told us was a surprise, but we found the delivery of the information lacking in care and understanding. He invited us to ask questions in the middle of his presentation, but then responded to our questions abruptly with "Yes, I will get to that." Why invite questions at that point? Other questions were met with a sense of impatience, and so we perceived, a lack of interest or care.

Mr Kelada was patient with my questions and gave matter of fact explanations to the results. I would have appreciated some statistics about people with my levels and some statistics about what we could expect but I realise that may be hard to do.

Health Check (Screening)

Unfortunately the consultation didn't start too well as Dr Karen was almost 20 minutes late for our zoom meeting due to a technical problem with her laptop. I would have appreciated it if that had been resolved in advance of our meeting or at least if I'd received a message during those 20 minutes of waiting to explain the delay. Karen was however very apologetic about this. The consultation was very informative and we covered a lot although I needed to ask her to properly explain everything as I felt quite bombarded with info plus it all seemed quite rushed. I also felt like her manner could have been a little gentler in relation to my age and trying to conceive. I had seen Dr Karen 3 years too and frustratingly she had not commented on something quite major that she now has brought up as a possible issue with my fertility. I would have been grateful if this had been raised 3 years before in my past appointment so I could have done the relevant tests then. I was also promised the follow up letter from this consultation the day after our meeting (Friday) or the beginning of the following week. However, it did not arrive even a week later and I have had to chase this up. Generally an ok experience but not fully satisfied.
