I have had my first consultation with Lorna and was very pleased with the experience. The two words that come to mind are empathy and professionalism. She was very understanding and seemed to genuinely care about my overall health and determining how she could best help me within her scope. She seems very versed in both Ehlers Danlos and the related ailments and illnesses. In fact, it was a stroke of luck that I had my visit with her, as she picked up on the fact that a supplement my digestive doctor had prescribed was doing more harm than good in my particular case; neither my doctor nor I had connected those dots! I particularly like the fact that she combines both a clinical and an integrative/functional perspective and has found a middle ground that is backed by hard science and her own experience. I’m looking forward to continuing my healing journey with her on my team of practitioners.

I’ve been suffering from migraines for years which turned chronic migraines since December I started to look into the daith piercing and I was very apprehensive to book as reading if it is not done correct it can make things worse and I am extremely needle phobic lastly everyone’s fed back was how painful it was to have done and lastly the cost was a little off putting not knowing if it would help at all. I then found Richard who advertised he specialises in daith piercing and also does the medical version not cosmetic like tattoo parlours . I am So happy I found Richard and booked the appointment and go through with it! He made me feel so relaxed on the day and gave me way more information about my migraines and neck tension to what my physio or gp has ever given ! As soon as he did the piercing in both ears my head fog cleared , my sensitivity to sound and light drop massively instantly. I wish I never sat on debating this for so long ! I had this done yesterday at 1:30 pm by 3pm yesterday my husband using power tools was normal again and the kids playing the sounds of laughter and screaming was normal Again! My head no longer felt like it was gonna explode! Woke up this morning with a normal head and the piercing sites not even sore/ tender to what I was expecting. Thank you so much Richard i can not recommend you enough!

Dr Mittal herself is good. She is friendly, professional and helpful. Unfortunately for both of us, it was a bit of a wasted journey. It was a long way to go to be told that the information I'd been provided by another consultant was incorrect. I wish the system wasn't so ridiculously tied and Dr Mittal had the right to refer her own patients to her clinic, because I have been struggling for years with my health condition now and if the system was better supported, then I may have been able to access the support quicker. She advised me that I'm doing as much as possible to support my health condition, so that was good to have been told that there's nothing else I'm missing.
