Perhaps the most outstanding feature of my experience with Professor Purkayastha was his compassion and clear devotion to what he does. He shows humility and never underestimates the trust placed in him, considering it an honour to be able to help. It was a privilege to be treated by him and my surgery has been a huge success! Special thanks also to Dr Alex Wickham, consultant anaesthetist, who prepared me for surgery and allayed any fears. Also to Marcella who makes everything run smoothly and for always being friendly and helpful.

Excellence of medical profession

Dr Pitcher is a fantastic doctor. I've had a constant sore throat for years and been to multiple specialists and GPs who were unable to help me, despite a multitude of scopes, scans and blood work. He was the first doctor to diagnose that I have Eosiniphilic Esophagitis (which is quite rare so many doctors don't know much about it) and has given me medication that has put me in remission after only three months of his care. He is thorough, listens carefully and never dismisses your concerns or symptoms and is super efficient with his treatment plan. You are in the best possible hands with Dr Pitcher and I feel very lucky to have found him.

The experience shines through when you speak to Dr Abdalla. Her incredible knowledge is second to none. I feel extremely lucky to have crossed her path when I did. After a successful operation, the after care was just as good. Kind and caring and once again exceedingly knowledgeable, passing this knowledge onto others. Dr. Besherdas is an excellent doctor who really listened to me and put me at ease before my gastroscopy and colonoscopy. He banded my haemoroids as well. Both procedures were quick and painfree. He was kind enough to arrange the procedures within a week and his entire team was so supportive and reassuring. He has a good sense of humour as well which helps to relieve nerves before the procedures. I would highly recommend him for any gastroenterology related issues and procedures. It's a 5 🌟 from me !
