Mr Hickley was very pleasant and friendly, he thoroughly examined my eyes and explained the diagnosis to me. He then gave me options on what to do next.

From being referred by the optician to the final check up was excellent. Mr Quah and his team were quite superb. Fantastic result in both eyes. If you are considering a cataract operation or lens replacement in general, then I would say do not hesitate. I found the whole procedure really interesting. This is the third time I have had treatment by Mr Scala. He first performed cataract surgery on my right eye, then my left eye and more recently follow up YAG laser treatment on my right eye (which he did warn me may be necessary prior to surgery). My recent eye test results were 6/6 for my right eye and 6/7.5 for my left eye. My age is 73. I found Mr Scala to be a very patient focused and approachable consultant who explained things fully and in an understandable way. His enthusiasm for his work and patient care appears to be boundless. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Scala to my family and friends.
