I met Mr Abdul at the DRI. He explained everything clearly to me, asking me if I understood what he was saying. He was very busy but I still felt he took time to reassure me about what was going to happen. He visited me after my operation to explain what he had done. I would like to thank him and all the staff involved in the journey I have been on.

My first consultation with Dr Yazbek took place over a year ago. During that meeting I received all the answers to my questions with regards to managing my situation with uterine fibroids. Dr Yazbek described clearly all available treatments to me, their benefits and potential risks. While still on the NHS waiting list, I have decided that I needed more urgent help as the fibroids were still growing and making my daily life rather difficult. Not only is Dr Yazbek, whom I chose to be my surgeon - a very skilled professional, but his way of communicating with a patient (calm, measured, empathetic and with great listening skills) make it very easy for me to recommend him to other patients.

Mr Nama has been amazing since our initial consultation. I went in swiftly within a week for a routine procedure, which led to something further & Mr Nama kept me 100% updated & reassured throughout the process. I felt I was in 100% safe hands and he and his team were amazing - follow up even the day after has been exemplary and I have been given full explanation of next stages etc.

Mr Sayasneh has been amazing and couldn't recommend him enough. After years of painful periods and not being given a solution or diagnosis despite scans on the NHS, he diagnosed me very quickly with endometriosis and helped me with a pain management plan and talked through fertility implications. He then went on to do a laparoscopy which was very successful, left minimal scaring and has turned my life around pain-wise. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good gynaecologist.

Dr McIndoe is always so lovely, professional, polite and always takes the time to ask how I’m doing in all aspects of my life. I feel completely at ease around him especially as I don’t particularly enjoy smear tests.

Mr Anil was a very calm & steady voice when I was panicked in finding a lump. He was so reassuring, gentle & explained everything. As soon as I was under his care, I’ve not panicked about anything. He’s very organised, a good communicator & you always deal direct with him. You can tell he cares for each & every one of his patients. I wouldn’t go to anyone else for gynae or lumps & bumps.

Miss Evans was the wonderful - I cannot recommend her highly enough. Miss Evans was patient with me, took the time to explain and show me my situation and was sensible in next steps - something I was desperately seeking in a Doctor! Mr Nath explained the risks and benefits of robotic surgery very comprehensively. More importantly, from my experience, he is an extremely competent surgeon in a very important emerging field. My post op recovery was very much faster than that of people I know who had a conventional procedure. His PA is also brilliant, making it easy to deal with any issues which arise such as queries from insurers. A great team.
