In January I gave birth, at the age of 47, to a healthy baby girl and she was conceived naturally when I was 46. When I found her, I did not even know if it was possible to conceive naturally at my age (as many fertility centres will not help people over 45) and I had some previous fertility issues that I needed support with. She guided me through the best course of testing and procedures to ensure that my body was fully prepared to conceive and have a healthy full-term pregnancy. My experience of egg freezing at the Lister was really positive from start to finish. I am really grateful to Mr Nicopoullos who was is extremely knowledgeable and skilful at explaining things clearly. Even though I always had many questions, I never felt rushed and he always took the time to listen and to make me feel at ease. I saw Dr Giada six months ago as I have been suffering from PCO, acne, irregular periods and other symptoms.
