Dr McIndoe is always so lovely, professional, polite and always takes the time to ask how I’m doing in all aspects of my life. I feel completely at ease around him especially as I don’t particularly enjoy smear tests.

Dr Koita helped make my dream of having another child a reality and for that I will be forever grateful! In January I gave birth, at the age of 47, to a healthy baby girl and she was conceived naturally when I was 46. I cannot thank Dr Koita enough for all of her amazing help and support with conception and pregnancy. When I found her, I did not even know if it was possible to conceive naturally at my age (as many fertility centres will not help people over 45) and I had some previous fertility issues that I needed support with. After meeting with Dr Koita, she was immediately encouraging and supportive – she was extremely kind, caring and empathetic and answered all of my questions with the utmost patience. Dr Koita provided invaluable information and support that I was not able to find anywhere else. She guided me through the best course of testing and procedures to ensure that my body was fully prepared to conceive and have a healthy full-term pregnancy. Dr Koita’s help truly means the world to me! I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with conception and pregnancy.

I recently had a total hysterectomy which has been highly successful. Ms. Eleni Mavrides was thorough and exceptional from our initial consultation at The Portland through to the post-op follow-up. She provided excellent guidance while discussing my options regarding the best type of hysterectomy for my personal case and I am delighted with the outcome now, several weeks later. No complications and the bikini line scar is neat and discreet too, a bonus. My recovery has been faster than expected, largely due to the first-class surgery and the wonderful care of the nurses and other staff. I would highly recommend Ms Eleni Mavrides to any woman considering such surgery.

Dr Disu is an excellent surgeon. He is professional, passionate and dedicated. I had a laparoscopy and excision of endometriosis in July 2022 and Dr Disu took time to explain absolutely everything. Unfortunately, I had severe complications after my surgery (due to another health condition) and had a second surgery with Dr Disu a week later. Again, he explained everything and I trusted him completely. Dr Disu promised to visit me and kept in touch with me throughout my 2 month stay in the hospital. He visited me in ITU and in the Wards and I am so grateful to have such a caring doctor. I recently had a follow up appointment with Dr Disu and it was great to see him again and discuss my ongoing treatment. I highly recommend Dr Disu.

Mr Salim is an absolutely brilliant consultant and one of the most caring and thorough doctors I have ever been in the care of. While fertility treatment has a lot of unknown variables, Mr Salim and all his team were exceptional at answering questions best they could and making me feel as comfortable as possible. Mr Salim never made me feel like anything was too much trouble, being readily available to answer any questions while also being realistic and providing expert care and guidance throughout the entire process. Where other clinics may have turned me away, he took the time to understand my situation with a tailor made treatment plan that achieved the results I was looking for at this time. His knowledge and patience is unmatched - I couldn’t recommend him more. 5 stars to Mr Salim, any patient would be in very safe hands with him.

The embolization procedure was a much preferred option for me than a more intrusive hysterectomy. It was quick, minimum discomfort and amazingly effective, in that the considerable reduction in my very heavy periods was virtually instant. I would go as far as to say it was life-changing and I have never looked back. The procedure not only saw me through until after the menopause, when my periods would stop anyway, but now 15 years down the line, still the fibroids remain ‘shrunk’ and not causing me any issues. I would recommend the procedure to anyone faced with multiple or large fibroids that have a considerable impact on your life and well-being. Dr Crowe could not have done more or been more accommodating.
