Extremely knowledgeable and professional as well as open and engaging

After rising blood calcium levels I went to see the Professor, who quickly arranged tests to diagnose me with Primary Hyperparathyroidism. She monitored me closely throughout my pregnancy and post thyroid surgery. Since this I’m happy to say this issue has now been stabilised. The Professor is wonderfully kind, understanding and her knowledge is second to none. I felt safe and reassured throughout my time under her care. I cannot recommend or thank her enough for all that she has done for me.

Professional, understanding, caring, give time to the patient

Apart from being an extremely knowledgeable and highly capable surgeon, Professor Paleri also has a great ability in engaging with his patients. He always ensures that the patient is at the centre of the decision making process, and provides them with uncomplicated explanations and interpretations of the various stages of the treatment plan. He is an exceptional person.

Kind, patient and very thorough. I never felt rushed and finally felt heard, it was so refreshing and I left feeling very optimistic that Dr Haq would help me get to the bottom of my issues. One of the best consultants I have ever seen, highly recommend.

Professor Drake, put me at my ease, early on in my appointment, which I found helpful. He listened well and explained things to me, carefully. Before I left, he made sure that there was a plan in place, which I found very reassuring. He was very professional but also kind, which made a real difference to me. I would not hesitate to see him again, if needed.
