I recently had my baby at the Portland Hospital, and the experience was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff were attentive and professional. The facilities were spotless and designed to create a calming atmosphere. The medical team, including nurses and doctors, were knowledgeable and compassionate. They made me feel confident and at ease throughout the delivery. The postpartum care was outstanding, with attentive staff and helpful lactation consultants. I highly recommend the Portland for anyone seeking top-notch maternity care.

Effective and efficient

Had to have surgery due to AVN on my left hip. Had had it before on my right hip so kind of expected the what the procedure and outcome would be. However, I was impressed by Dr. Stafford and his knowledge of my condition. I felt secure during the whole procedure and it was also very reassuring to have him follow up after (including the physio). After just six months, I am now walking between 10,000 and 19,000 steps per day (due to work! I was only off for 10 weeks!) without it affecting my leg. Highly recommend Dr. Stanford!

A very positive experience. Clean hospital, helpful staff.

My experience of all the staff at the Queen's square hospital (including the imaging centre) is that they set the gold standard in terms of professionalism and care. That is why I was disappointed and shocked to discover that the message that I suffered from claustrophobia clearly had not been passed onto the radiographers for the scan. When I rang to confirm the appointment I was told not to worry as there were strategies in place for those suffering from claustrophobia. Clearly this was not the case. I have had several MRI scans and because of the number required and my phobia I was switched to an upright scanner. On the notes prior to the scan it suggested going to the G.P. to receive a sedative yet on the two times I rang up there was no suggestion of this and I was told my phobia has been written in my notes. Despite the care of the radiographers it was a upsetting and traumatic experience and I hope going forward that changes can be made so that other patients with the same phobia do not have to go through the same experience.

My experience with the staff and Mr Berber has been very good since day one, and I highly recommend to Mr Berber and the Royal Free Hospital to anyone who needs to see an Orthopedic specialist in the future.
