Very detailed and not rushed

I found Andrew a simply excellent Surgeon. He uses cutting edge technology with tailor made ankle prosthetics. He explains very clearly what is involved and is with you every step of your journey. The operation for an ankle replacement at the Wellington was seamless. I was out 2 days later, pain free. There was minimal swelling and 2 months later you can hardly notice the scar. Due to the precision of Andrew's surgery and detailed follow-up Recovery Plan I am looking to return to my profession within 11 weeks of the operation.

David is very knowledgeable and was able to clearly explain and demonstrate what the issue was with my tendon. He discussed a clear plan and was realistic but encouraging about outcome and recovery. I now understand the cause of my problem and now have fantastic orthoses in my shoes which have completely changed my comfort in walking. He has advised on strengthening and reviewed any queries or issues that I have had over the past few months. He worked in close liaison with a physio colleague who I had seen.
