I highly recommend Prof Mughal as I found him extremely considerate, well mannered, kind and super professional. He operated on me for 11 hours - a complete oesophagectomy and a month later I was able to eat and sleep almost as normal. I could not ask for more. Initial consultation & procedures were dealt with well & quite quick. However, I then had to chase for a follow up, as there was still no reason identified for my diagnosis. The secretary is difficult to get hold, often no replies to emails, so followed up through Spire secretaries. Eventually got a telephone appt, but didn't get called, was then told I should have gone in-person. Next appt cancelled at short notice. Re-schedule appt the Professor didn't turn up, was then told clinic was cancelled, but had no notification, so resulted in a wasted journey. Not sure if I can now be bothered with the hassle to follow up on my health issues!

Simon was extremely personable, attentive and empathetic to our situation after hearing about our experience in having to take our baby to A&E. He made us feel at ease throughout the whole process and never rushed his consultations. We are extremely grateful to Simon for making it such a stress free and successful experience, given that my husband and were very anxious about the hernia surgery.

I was referred to Mr Jenkinson by another surgeon who was unable to assist me because he could not provide the necessary long term follow up. I am very pleased that he did. I have found Mr Jenkinson to be thoroughly professional, candid and realistic. My sleeve surgery in January 2018 went very well and, following his team’s clear advice, I have lost a third of my excess weight in 3 months. I only have one regret which is that I did not seek his advice years ago.

Professional and personable. We knew exactly what was going to happen and when. Dr Krishna Moorthy was very clear and engaging. I had total confidence in him as a Surgeon and expert in his field of study. Without him we wouldn't have the opportunity to live and have the opportunity to travel as no other Surgeon had the skills required to the surgery that was required. He has extensive experience of working with complex patients and shows care for each patient. Would highly recommend him.
