I was referred to Mr Jenkinson by another surgeon who was unable to assist me because he could not provide the necessary long term follow up. I am very pleased that he did. My sleeve surgery in January 2018 went very well and, following his team’s clear advice, I have lost a third of my excess weight in 3 months. I only have one regret which is that I did not seek his advice years ago.

I was recently under the care of Dr Tsironis while recovering from abdominal surgery. His visits each morning kept me informed of how I was doing, but it was at the follow up appointment once I had been discharged that he really took the time to explain my condition to me. I asked endless questions and he really helped me to get a grasp on what had happened to me by showing diagrams of the anatomy, explaining to me so that I could understand. He put me at ease and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.

I had total confidence in him as a Surgeon and expert in his field of study. Without him we wouldn't have the opportunity to live and have the opportunity to travel as no other Surgeon had the skills required to the surgery that was required. He has extensive experience of working with complex patients and shows care for each patient. Would highly recommend him.

Intrusive, bossy, short in his manner. Insisted on another in-person follow up. Felt entitled to criticize (my moderate) alcohol intake and put notes on this in my medical letter: I was there to check a hernia tear, not get a moralistic lecture. I urge Mr Wan to reconsider his position as a service provider and also work on his communication skills and bedside manner.
