I am extremely frustrated with the consultancy finder.I was crystal clear when booking the consultant that I need to have my gallbladder removed. I was then sent a list of consultants to book and so I choose Mr Nair as he was on the list at my nearest hospital. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment. I took a day off work to go to the appointment and upon sitting down with Mr Nair I was told within 30 seconds that he does not do the Gallbladder removal and that I need to see a completely different consultant who does do this procedure. I have therefore made another appointment with the correct consultant which I have had to wait almost another week to do and will need to take another day off work. Please ensure that your consultancy finder is accurate in the future as it was a complete waste of my time and a delay of another week waiting to see a consultant. Please also ensure that my care plan does not show that I have had 2 consultations as the first one I just had was simply being told that I need to see someone else. I do not want this review to go against Mr Nair as he was excellent and very helpful, but just not the correct consultant due to your incorrect appointment.
