I had a HoLEP operation performed by Mr Nair on the 8 May. From diagnostic tests through to the procedure itself, he has been extremely pleasant and professional. I felt at ease with Professor Hindley as soon as I met him, and he couldn't have taken more trouble in assessing my problem and proposing a course of action, which was explained in detail. I felt very lucky to be under the care of such a highly professional consultant.

Mr Nkwam was very professional, covered all the information quickly but in sufficient depth that I had only a few questions and was friendly during the consultation.

Right from the start he gave very clear explanations - from what the problem was, what the solutions were and the pros and cons of each and what to expect.

Mr Malde took the time to listen to my history and answer my questions thoroughly and carefully. His recommendations took into account my requests and preferences. Highly recommend.

Mr Barber was excellent but arguably the remote follow up appointment with my results would have been better with a specialist who could inform me in more detail of the next steps and time frame to treat the cancer rather than leaving me waiting for a further two weeks or how ever long it will take. This would surely be more efficient than having two appointments one with Mr barber and then, I assume, a further appointment with an oncologist or similar plus the double appointment cost.

Amazing bedside manner and extremely knowledgeable

I was impressed by his calm profesional manner. He provided clear explanations of medical issues and procedures in a way that was accessible to a layman. He took time to understand my concerns as a patient and to answer all my questions. He made the test data available to me so I had the opportunity to keep my own patient records. His personal assistant responded promptly to all my emails and managed the adminstrative matters competently and effectively. He has that rare skill of making you feel like you are his only patient, while you have the comfort of knowing that you are not!
