Great consultant, very thorough and alleviated all worries

Matt and the team at The Portland gave us the greatest gift we could ask for, a safe supported pregnancy and incredibly positive birth experience. Throughout the pregnancy, Matt oversaw our care making us feel listened to and supported. He has a wonderfully calm and approachable patient manner. His secretary Sarah was incredibly efficient ensuring every aspect of our care ran smoothly; she was also a great source of support and a pleasure to deal with. Our birth was magical and we will forever be grateful for the calm, caring and beautiful birth Matt and the team at The Portland gave us. We cannot recommend Matt enough. Every women deserves to have the birth experience and care he provides. We feel incredibly lucky to have met him and would recommend him without hesitation.

Following multiple miscarriages and many years of IVF, we were a very nervous mum-and-dad-to-be when we finally reached the third trimester of our sixth pregnancy. Despite our efforts, we couldn't get adequate support via the NHS so we decided to look for a private Obstetrician who could provide us with the reassurance we needed as our due date approached. After meeting with a few different Doctors we choose Sadia to provide the last weeks of care and deliver our very special and long awaited baby. Sadia is warm, friendly and always available to help, and at the same time professional, direct and succinct, in all the very best ways. Sadia achieves an excellent balance in this respect. I elected to have a c-section and had an excellent birth experience. Our treatment with Sadia was so good we didn't hesitate to book her again for the delivery of our second child. I would recommend Sadia to anyone looking for highly experienced and caring support through their last week's of pregnancy and delivery. Without a doubt, choosing Sadia was the best birthing decisions we made. Thank you Sadia for being there for us and delivering our very special little people.

Dr Wright is a great Doctor in all aspects. Both personal and professional.

Can't recommend Manju highly enough - she is both an excellent obstetrician and a kind, caring person. From the very first meeting she made me feel comfortable and I always looked forward to our appointments. I had a couple of little scares along the way and Manju dealt with these swiftly - squeezing me in at the last minute to make sure everything was OK. When it became clear that I needed to deliver a little early, Manju was calm in presenting my options and the C-section experience was a really special one. Ten weeks on and I've healed really well - my GP even commented on Manju's neat work! My husband and I will always be grateful to Manju for bringing our beautiful daughter into the world.

Recently had a planned c-section with Seni Subair at UCLH Fitzrovia. I found him to be a great obstetrician, in particular I valued that any question I had, he would cite the research and statistics behind his answer which gave me a lot of confidence. I felt we were very much in partnership when planning my delivery as he would provide any relevant experience or evidence to help me feel empowered to make any key decisions eg when we were planning the timing of my c section. I didn’t at any point feel I was being told what to do or being left without enough information on what was going on.

We have just used Dr. Touqmatchi's services for the second time and we truly couldn't recommend her more highly. Our first child was born via emergency caesarean and our second child was born via planned caesarean, and both experiences were made seamless due to being in Dr. Touqmatchi's care. Not only is she incredibly competent, but she has an unrivalled bedside manner and is just genuinely a lovely person. We feel eternally indebted to Dr. Touqmatchi for her care.
