After receiving an unexpected diagnosis for neuroendocrine cancer at age 32, I did research to help narrow down to which doctors in the UK were leading for treatment of this rare disease. Dr Srirajaskanthan was immediately impressive upon meeting and made me feel safe that I would receive the best care. He was compassionate and took the time to help my family and I understand the diagnosis and next steps. He fast-tracked consultations and scans, so my waiting period before treatment was as short as possible. He was diligent to assess all testing that came before meeting with him, and has helped me have a say in my own treatment journey so I have the highest possible quality of life. I have a long journey ahead with this cancer, but I am in safe hands. I cannot thank him (and his wonderful secretary) enough for being there for my family and I.

I have had my first consultation with Lorna and was very pleased with the experience. The two words that come to mind are empathy and professionalism. She was very understanding and seemed to genuinely care about my overall health and determining how she could best help me within her scope. She seems very versed in both Ehlers Danlos and the related ailments and illnesses. In fact, it was a stroke of luck that I had my visit with her, as she picked up on the fact that a supplement my digestive doctor had prescribed was doing more harm than good in my particular case; neither my doctor nor I had connected those dots! I particularly like the fact that she combines both a clinical and an integrative/functional perspective and has found a middle ground that is backed by hard science and her own experience. My experience with Dr Jhajj has been transformative. I approached Dr Jhajj as I was struggling to lose weight, feeling stress and suffering from fatigue and lack of energy. I’m forever grateful to Dr Jhajj for helping me see what I specifically need to feed myself and preparing a step by step, easy to follow plan to help me achieve this, while enjoying my meals. For years my father struggled with diabetes and an unhealthy relationship with food, which resulted in increased medication over time and consequently a deep conviction that this was the only way down the line. His sessions are very educational and strategy based which empowered us to navigate the challenging tides of adaptation with renewed hope, clarity, and confidence. Throughout the sessions Dr Filip focused on clearing misconceptions and providing a methodical approach on how and when to prepare and consume meals. All questions were welcome - no question was treated lightly or seen silly, and delicate questions were answered with a highly valued level of detail, care and compassion. Beyond meals, Dr Filip gave keen attention to understanding daily routines and lifestyle and used these to tailor a realistic overall health plan, setting manageable objectives with highest impact one step at a time. Before signing up with Dr Filip, we were hesitant that this would bear fruit. My father is now well into his fourth month since starting the programme, and we haven’t seen him this disciplined before. What I love most is that Dr Filip built good rapport with my father which resulted in him accepting advice and consistently showing up for the sessions, which are conveniently offered to us remotely. Very thankfully, we are already seeing positive results and hope to be able to reduce medication in a few months’ time.
